Christmas shopping. She had completely forgotten about christmas shopping! She was usually good with remembering to get presents at christmas time but work must have made her forget. That wasn't good at all, work shouldn't be taking so much of her concentration that she was forgetting things like that but she couldn't change anything so she wouldn't just have to learn to get better at remembering things. "She would love that, she hasn't done her christmas shopping yet." Solly smiled and ran her fingers through her hair.

Alex smirked and then leaned back in his chair a bit more. "Neither have I, and the shopping crowds are downright intimidating when one goes alone," he laughed lightly at this. However, the thought of what happened a few years ago in a Walmart concerning a werewolf, Walmart shoppers, and Black Friday Christmas shopping came to mind, and Alexander Lyons instantly cut off. It hadn't gone well for anyone there, sigh.... "So ya... I'm thinking... maybe this Friday?" he asked.

"That is true, I've never liked going christmas shoppinbg alone because of the crowds." Solly laughed and watched as Alex seemed to be lost in thhought for a moment, she didn't ask what he was thinking about but she had a feeling it was something serious. "This Friday is perfect, I have nothing planned unless some work emergency comes up, which I doubt will happen." She shivered, it was starting to get colder and she was only wearing a couple of layered singlets. The shirt she had been wearing before was wet and loose and wouldn't warm her up at all and she knew it was just going to get colder. She frowned but then as she looked up at Alex she couldn't help but smile again.

Seeing Solly frown for a moment seemed to remind Alex that he too was cold. Standing up and then looking around, the brown haired man finally came to another shelf and pulled out a rather large California King blanket that could have possibly covered the entire floor of the office if one stretched it enough. Throwing one end at Solly, Alex smirked a bit. "No sense in being cold, heh," he answered back starting to pull himself up in it as well.

Solly was surprised when Alex took out a large banket, he seemed to have everything in his office. It looked really warm and she seemed to feel warmer just looking at it. She grabbed the end he threw at her and smiled at how warm it was. "You have everything in here," she laughed. "Today has been such a great day, I really need to hang out with you more often." She ran her hand through her hair again, that habit was becoming just a bit annoying.

Alex was quiet for a moment as he thought this over. Indeed, they needed to spend more time together because...because....well... just ever reason... there. He nodded a bit at Solly and then smiled before rolling his shoulders a bit. However, his form tensed when a knock came at the door. Alex's face was hard to describe in that moment but looked rather cross to say the least of it. Sighing, he ignored the door and then turned back to Solly and waited to see if whoever it was would leave.

Solly smiled at the small nod from Alex and then she saw him tense. A knock on the door was something she had been hoping she wouldn't hear. The door was locked so no one would be able to walk in which was good and hopefully the person would just go away and leave them alone. If the person wouldn't leave that may not turn out good. "They better go away," she whispered in an annoyed tone.

Alex didn't say anything but simply nodded slowly and waited to see if the person did leave. In another few seconds, the sounds of footsteps leaving caused the brown haired man to sigh outwards rather quietly. "Work is so...." he shook his head dryly trying to find the word to describe what he was trying to say. "Continuous." He finished with this word, yet it didn't full seem to be what he had wanted to say. Indeed, it was continuous not to mention the fact that he lived there... Work was home, and home was work. Where some could go home after work, Alex simply stayed at work. After a moment, he shook his head and offered a smile to Solly. "Looks like they left...." he finally stated.
However, just as Alexander Lyons stated this, another knock came ta the door. "Mr. Lyons! Mr. Lyons! There's trouble!" a rather racked voice called from the other side of the door. It was just audible due to the sound proofness of the room, yet Alex heard it.

Solly waited quite impatently to see what was going to happen next, hoping that the person would just go away and leave them alone though for some reason she didn't believe that was going to happen. She heard Alex say that it looked like the person left, she didn'thear the footsteps, she did believe Alex had but she was getting a bad gut feeling at this stage and something had happened. Solly heard th next knock and she could just hear the voice, oh this wasn't good at all, it had to happen now. She sighed and shook her head. Standing up and letting the blanket slid off her, she quickly walked over to her bag and slipped on the shirt and put the wig on the quickest time possible. She looked back over at Alex.

Alex waited silently watching Solly get her wig and things back on before finally taking hold of the knob, turning it, and all but leering at the man on the other side of the door. "What?" he asked much harsher than he had meant to. The man paled just a little bit, and for a moment, Alex just stared before coughing and trying to recuperate his normal demeanor. "I mean... what is wrong?" he asked after a few seconds. The other man seemed to stunned to speak but then quickly recovered himself and tried to find the words that he was going to say only a few seconds previously.
"The storm ha-has washed up something on shore and...." the man shook his head as though thinking to fast to speak. Alex wasn't about to take it and simply coughed causing the other man to snap to it again. "It's a giant odd colored wolf...." was the final answered. Alex blinked slowly and then looked towards Solly with a questioning look.
"Alright we'll be there in a minute," Alex finally stated turning back to the other man. The paler man seemed to nod at this and quickly moved away.

Alex was a bit angry, Solly could easily work that out by how he snapped at the person that was now standing in front of him. Solly stood with her hands in her jean pockets and her expression blank, she wasn't going to show how annoyed she was at this stage. By th time the man had finished speaking, Solly's jaw had dropped and she quickly composed herself again. That didn't sound normal at all, odd coloured? What did he mean by that? She walked up to the Alex when the other man went away. "I have a bad feeling about this..." she said in a quiet voice and began to walk. She wanted to see what was up.

Alex found himself sucking in air and then sighed outwards nodding to Solly's comment and starting to walk out towards the front again. The elevator ride up was making Alex tenser, and he was starting to wonder why they hadn't invested in stairs. As they got out and past the front, the crowd had disappeared again as though banished from the area by some unknown person. Stepping outside, Alex found himself staring a large blue werewwolf corpse. A shiver went through him, yet the brown hared man shook his head for a moment and manged to keep his face stern before starting over towards it. Those that had been examining it moved away as Alex came. "What in the world....." Alex started and looked at Solly as though unsure of what to say.

Solly frooze the second she saw the wol that everyone seemed to be staring at. 'Oh my god, she shook her head and rubbed her eyes, not sure if she should believe what she is seeing. It could just be a prank but everyone seemed surprised by it and she wouldn't understand why someone would play such a big prank. She walked right up to the wolf and crouched down. It's fur was so... colourful. The different shades of blue made it look real, the dark and light fur fit the shades of a normal coloured wolf and made it look very real. She slowly ran her hand across the fur of it's neck. "Who saw it actually wash up on the beach?" she asked while searching the dead wolf for signs of injuries. She wondered if it had died from drowning or something else, she couldn't help but wonder that.

There was silence in the group, and for a moment, Solly's question went un-answered. However, a sharp look from Alex seemed to stir a few into mumbling, and finally one came forwards. He had short red haired and a rather flat face covered in freckles. "I did sir's," he answered back unsure of which to look at and finally settled for a mid-ground between Solly and Alex. "I just uh.. saw it floating in the water, and it came up on the beach and uh...." he shook his head as though unsure of what else to say on the wolf.
Alexander Lyons looked at the man rather sharply before simply nodding and then looking at Solly before looking closer at the wolf. The idea of it being a prank....well.... hell....this would be one detailed prank. As far as he could tell, the wolf looked in tact physically, so that led to the idea of drowning. Then again, without actual analysis by someone better in this field, it'd be hard to tell. "What do you think?" Alex asked Solly. The man who had answered the first question had made to answer again but then cut himself off and remained silent.

Solly nodded at the man who answered her question. She didn't know what else to say, she hadn't seen such a surprising thing like this before. Alex's question made her find her voice again and she let a bit of a joke come out but then as she said it she wondered if it wasn't a joke but that could have happened, there were water proof dyes. "Um, I think that a wolf has found a bottle of blue dye or we've found something very unique." She didn't find any bullet wounds or any wounds that could have killed the wolf, she did find a scar above it's left eye though. She stood up and moved a few steps away from the wolf. They woud have to get someone to do an analysis of the wolf for signs of what might have happened to it and what it might be. She then wondered if it was a werewolf or a normal wolf. She opened one eyelid and looked at the colour of the eyes, greyish blue. "Human eyes, its a werewolf."
