Alex took the towel rather gratefully and first pressed it to his face before brushing it back and running it from his hairline to the back of his neck. Thankfully for them both, the room itself was soundproof and appeared to be blocking any noise that was outside as well as keeping their own private conversations in. "The hunt was refreshing," he finally smirked towards Solly before taking up a messed up rubix cube that was on the arm of the chair and began to work it. "We should do that more often." After he had finished the word, he set down the cube completely fixed.

Solly dried her face and just lept the towel wrapped around her. She hadn't gotten too wet, it was mostly the wig that was wet. "Yeah, it was refreshing and yes, if we don't go out hunting together more often I won't be happy." she laughed and stared at the rubix cube he had just finished. She would never understand how someone could fix one of those at all, like she would ever not be able to stare like an idiot when someone finished it in quicker than a couple of minutes. She looked around, all the windows were covered and the door was locked so there was no reason why she shouldn't take the wig off, no one would see and it was wet, as well as itching like normal. "Taking the wig off," she said in a quiet voice, she knew the room was soundproof but then she was just being careful. She took it off and then put it in her bag. She took out the bun and gave her hair a bit of a dry with the towel.

Alex had methodically went after something that could only be described as a rubex cube with more sides. As he heard the general 'taking the wig off', the brown haired man smirked a bit. As long as they were in his office, everything should be fine. "You really don't like that thing do you?" Alex smirked looking over for a moment as his hand twisted the new 'toy' of sorts in different rotational patterns as he tried to find the way to solve it.

Solly laughed, she hated the wig, she hated having to wear it all the time and the fact that she had to hide her hair and that she had to hide that she was a girl and she wished she could just be herself sometimes... And she also hated internal rants, they were annoying to say the least. "Nope, I hate it." she told Alex, as she searched her bag for any signs of a hair brush. She smiled as she finally found one and brushed her hair so it was at least neat. She put the brush back and then looked down at the oversized shirt that she was wearing. She had piled on two singlets underneath and she didn't really care if Alex saw her in a singlet, it wasn't like she was covered in wrinkles. "Hey, I'm wearing a couple of siglets underneath, mind if I take off this shirt?" She also wasn't planning on leaving his office anytime soon unless he kicked her out.

"Ya sure, go ahead," Alex nodded back at Solly as he turned his eye back to the puzzle. This one was a tad more confusing than the last and seemed to have an extra twist to it. After a moment, the hunter leader solved it as well and set it on the table rather pleased with himself. After another moment, he habitually looked over at Solly.

Solly smiled and slipped off the shirt, feeling a bit cold for a moment but the her skin adjusted to the temperature change and she was warm again. She put the shirt in her bag and then sighed. It was nice, this was the most girly she had felt all day in a way with her hair out and the boys clothing gone. The jeans were technically boys clothing but then they were just jeans, she had worn them a lot before she'd became the sector 12 leader and always felt like a girl in them, never tomboyish. She saw as Alex looked over at her and she smiled. "It's warmer than I would have expected it to be with the storm starting," she said, just a random thing that popped into her head.

Alex half nodded at this. "It's probably going to get a lot colder soon," he answered back sighing a bit and leaning back into his chair that squeaked in the process. He half laughed and closed his eyes for a moment as though trying to think of something."Christmas is coming soon...." he found himself brooding on the Christmas Party again...

"Mmm..." Solly almost hummed as she walked over to a chair and sat down. Her legs were a bit sore and she didn't think that as being weird at all, she'd had a big day hunting... She laughed as she heard Alex's chair squeak and watched him as he closed his eyes. Christmas. She was now thinking about the Christmas party, she would love to go but not dressed as a guy in a nice suit but she wanted to go as a girl, wearing a dress and to go with Alex. She wasn't going to say anything, a few years ago she had went as Sally with Alex but he hadn't asked her to go with him since then and she was waiting for him to ask this year, she really hoped he would. "Have any idea what date the party is?" she asked him.

"I was hoping Sally would accept my invitation," he answered back opening on eye towards Solly, smirking, and then closing it again. It had been the first time he had mentioned it so openly, yet there it was, and he simply had to wait to see if she would take it or not. "She's been so busy lately, but I'm hoping..."

Solly smiled, just what she had been hoping for and she couldn't help but laugh a bit. "Well, I heard that Sally has been dying to go with you," she said with another laugh and moved her chair next to his. "Yes, your invitation is accepted and Sally is so excited to go to the Christmas party with you." She smiled brightly and kissed him lightly on the cheek. Now one thing that was going to be going through her mind was what she would wear to the Christmas party, she would need to find a nice dress to wear and she would also have to do her hair and makeup... and for the first time in ages she was going to really care what she looked like and try to look as beautiful as possible for Alex.

The accepted invitation left Alex grinning ear to ear, and the kiss on the cheek left him unable to stop smiling at that point. In the back of his mind, he was doing back flips. After all this and it seemed like both of them knew it internally... It was just perfect. "Well you seem to be just down right psychic, Solly," he joked lightly. "To be able to get into people's heads like that." He couldn't laugh at that. Solly being psychic or even a little bit on that side wouldn't have surprised him much. She could do just about everything, and he loved her for that.

Seeing that smile on Alex's face, it made her feel so happy to see him like this. Psychic? She hadn't heard that word for so long andit was the first time anyone had ever called her psychic. She knew he was joking but she had always just thought of that word as weird. "Maybe I am... maybe I'm not." she said with a laugh. "Do you know what date the party is?" she asked and then she smiled. Shelifted her fingers to her temples, "I can see that it will be on.... a saturday!"She tried not to laugh but she couldn't stop herself. She hardly ever acted stupid but it was still fun sometimes.

Alexander Lyons let off a laughed and shook his head smirking a bit more. "See you are psychic," he answered back. "You knew it already." He set his elbow on the arm of the chair and then his head on his hand and seemed to grow serious in thought for a moment. "Sally's going to need a dress," he stated suddenly turning his head again. "Maybe I'll talk to her about going on a shopping trip since I need a tux anyways," he finished. "What do you think?"

Solly laughed again, that was a lucky guess, shed had no idea what day it was going to be on but then it did make sense that it would be on a saturday, lots of parties were either on friday or saturday nights. Now she was back to thinking about the fact she would need to find a beautiful dress and try to make herself look beautiful for Alex, she was planning on surprising him. "Hmm, I think she was planning on surprising you and not letting you see whatever dress she picked until the party..." She smiled and her mind seemed to change, going on a shopping trip with Alex did sound fun. "But, I don't think she'll turn down a shopping trip with you."

Alex seemed to half smirk at this. "Well if she wants to surprise me with the dress, maybe we could just go shopping for a few Christmas stuff for everyone else." A light laugh came from him on that. He still hadn't bought anything for anyone despite how fast Christmas was coming up. Shopping had never been one of his major things to begin with, and work had somewhat shoved it aside.
