Solly stood leaning against the wall of the control room. She watched Alex as he steered the boat back towards the HQ. The rain was loud as it hit the outside floor of the boat and to her it was distracting, it didn't look like it was distracting to Alex but it did look like as the rain was becoming heavier it was becoming much harder to see. She hoped that they would make it back before it was impossible to see where they were going, she already felt a bit nervous on boats. "That rain better not get much heavier," she said quietly, watching out front and seeing how hard it was becoming to see where they were going.

Feeling Solly's apprehension, Alex accelerated the boat a bit more. However, even with that, he found he had to slow down again in order to avoid a sand bed. They were almost there... just a bit... further... Alex found his eyes squinting as they got closer and closer to the dock. The sound of the rain was starting to enter Alex's mind, and he was finding it annoying to say the least of things. He could only do so much not to snap at the rain for being inconstant with the pounding of it. However, in the end of it all, Alex managed to drive the boat back into the dock. Breathing out rather strained for a moment, Alexander Lyons composed himself again and looked towards Solly offering a smile.

Solly stayed silent for the rest of the trip, watching Alex as he drove faster then slowed down and as he seemed to concentrate more intensely as they got closer to the dock. Solly couldn't help but sigh in relief as he drove the boat into the dock and they stopped. She smiled back at Alex and picked up her bag, swinging it over one shoulder. "That hunting trip was... fun." she said with a smile still on her face. It had been fun and dramatic and she was finally dating. She was finally with Alex. She stepped off of the boat and waited for Alex

Alexander Lyons followed Solly but stopped to talk to several men that were at the dock despite the rain and calling out wondering if everything was alright. Alex called back and answered that indeed everything was fine but they had some things to be unloaded. After that, he proceeded to explain about the wolves and then finally walked to Solly again. "They'll take care of the rest," Alex stated aloud to Solly. The rain had already soaked him, and he resembled something of a sheep dog considering his bangs were past his eyes now.

Solly walked a little further into a shaded area while Alex stopped to talk to a few men. She didn't want to get anymore wet than she already was. She nodded at his words and then she noticed how wet he had gotten. His hair was covering his face and he looked funny and cute. She smiled and then started to walk towards the HQ, she wanted to get inside and away from the rain. She knew it was only going to get worse and she wasn't in the mood to be stuck in a full on storm.

Alex walked back with Solly towards the HQ. "Looks like we made it back before we were stranded on the island," he half-heatedly joked as they both walked back towards the HQ getting closer and closer by the minute. The idea of being forced to wait out the storm over there... Not on his top list of things he wanted to do that was for sure. Finally reaching the HQ, Alex opened the general locks of the fence and then stepped inside feeling the cold blast of air that made him shiver.

The thought of being stuck on the island until the storm passed wasn't the best thought but then she hadn't exactly been happy about leaving. Spending more time alone with Alex and away from her job as being the sector 12 leader that carried so much stress, she couldn't complain too much about that part of the thought. The stepped through the gate and she saw Alex shiver, a cold wind had blown past but Solly didn't get effected by the cold unless it was really cold. She felt a bit nervous about walking into the building because of all the people that had tried to talk to Alex when they had been just trying to leave earlier. That amount of people all talking at once just made her annoyed because she couldn't concentrate with that much noise.

Despite the amount of people that had been in the lobby when they had come in, there was literally no one in the lobby as they came back in. Alex's eyes shifted around somewhat paranoid as to how this was happening, yet after a moment, he simply sighed outwards. "This... is odd...." he finally stated with little else to say. Walking towards the elevator, Alex pressed the down button and waited for the elevator.

Solly looked around as the entered the lobby. There was almost no one there and she was kind of surprised. She had been expecting a repeat of earlier to a point but no, no one walked up to them and tried to talk to Alex, it was so quiet in the room. SHe wondered if something had happened and again what time it was, how late it was now. She had no idea how long they had spent on that island. She was a bit curious to what they would find happening on the underground levels of the HQ. The lift doors opened and she stepped in, she leaned against the lift wall giving into her weird, lazy habit.

Alex stepped into the elevator and watched as the doors closed and the lift went downwards. As the doors opened again, he found himself staring into the HQ once more. And.............. oh good lord. There they all were. In a giant horde right at the front of the elevator, everyone from before as well as some new people was right then ready for questions to be answered. Alex sighed and brought a hand up to his forehead rubbing his fingers down the side of his face in one rather irritated motion.

She'd knew it. Silence, there had been wonderful silence and then the lift doors had opened and the noise of man voices all trying to rab the attention of the hunter leader next to her filled the elevator and it almost sounded like the noise was bouncing off the walls and every voice was doubling in volume by the second. Solly's head began to ache, just a small ache but that was all it took for her to lose her temper. "SHUT UP!" she screamed at the group of hunters all crowded around the lift entry. She began to walk out of the elevator with a look of annoyance on her face and everyone seemed to move out of her way. She knew there would be people in the group that had no idea who she was but anyone who was smart and could see her expression and had heard her shouting would know that the best thing to do was move out of her way.
She stopped when she was on the other side of the crowd and everyone seemed to turn to face her. "Do you all really think Alexander will answer your question if you are standing there making a lot of noise like birds trying to get some hot chips? No, no questions will be answered if you keep acting like that so shut up and listen to Alex, he'll answer your questions if you do that." she sighed as she finished speaking and crossed her arms, annoyed and now in a seriously grumpy mood. She still had a bit of a headache and she seriously didn't know how Alex coped with this.

The silence that blatantly filled the room after Solly's discharge left Alex with a blank expression. "Everyone, please... this is why I have e-mail. If there is a problem, send me an e-mail or if it is an emergency, call me. That is all." With that, he walked through the group that was now all but hushed in fear of Solomon Lance. Someone hiccuped, and Alex simply sighed outwards no longer fazed by those around him. As he finally came up next to Solly again, he made a motion for her to follow and then started off towards his office.
No one moved from where they were when Alex started to leave. Whether it was from fear or sheer disbelief that they had been scolded was certainly debatable, yet the effect was obvious. Everyone was quiet.

Solly walked with Alex towards his office. No one followed them and no one spoke, it was so quiet and it was perfect. She hated a lot of noise and she liked the quiet but then she also liked a little bit of noise. She didn't say anything to Alex as they walked to his office because she could almost feel the stares of the silenced on her back and she had a feeling they would listen carefully to whatever she or Alex said, they would go away when she and Alex went into the office and then the two would be able to talk again.

As Alex closed his office door after Solly had entered, he locked it and then finally sighed outwards. "That... was not what I wanted to come back to," he breathed shaking his head and then moving towards his arm chair. He didn't care if he was wet at that point. The chair was leather and would be able to take the water as far as he was concerned. However, as an after thought, he raised his arm and started sliding off the jacket he had been wearing. The cold air around him all but stung for a moment, yet after that, he was a bit warmer, in truth. Setting the jacket on the arm of the chair, he looked over towards a row of cabinets. "I think there are still some towels in there somewhere," he sighed outwards.

Solly hadn't wanted to come back to that either but she had been expecting it so it seemed like she was coping better. She was wetbut not even close to as wet as Alex and she didn't feel very cold at all, she felt warm really. Her wig was more wet than her actual hair and the second she wondered if she could take off her wig she shook the thought off. Not the smartest idea but then she would do anything to not have to wear the wig as long as she was almost sure no one would see her without it on. She nodded and walked over the cabinets and started to search for towels. She felt a bit weird looking through them because they weren't hers butit wasn't like she was taking any notice of anything, she was just looking for towels. SHe found some and took out two, passing one to Alex and wrapping the other around herself.
