Solly looked up at him when he said her name because she was wondering what he was going to say in response to her words, what he would say to just try to stop her weak tears. She couldn't help bt hope that he would say something nice, that he would say something that really told her that she meant something to him and that she was special to him but as that hope passed though her mind she pushed it away quickly, she shouldn't hope something like that at all. Tears continued to roll down her cheeks as he spoke but as he explained why he cared the tears seemed to turn from tears of pain and anger to tears of happiness because she could tell that he wasn't telling lies but he truely meant what he was saying.
She got herself to stand up straight and she could let go of the wall she was using for support because she was feeling so different. She didn't smile but she stared at him, so surprised by his words and so... happy to hear them, to hear words that told her that he did care and that he did think of her as someone special. She opened her mouth as if to say something but she wasn't exactly sure what to say. "Um..." she took a step towards him and smiled. "It's nice to know that 'cause I like you," she blushed again. She had said the wrong thing again and after what he had said, maybe it wasn't a bad thing she has said...

Alex's visage seemed to turn into a strange unreadable form for a few seconds before he finally stepped forwards and hugged her again tighter than before. A sudden fear that she would push him away again came to mind, yet Alex refused to believe it at that point. Instead, something more came from him. "I love you, Solly." It was just above a whisper and could have easily been lost to the wind, yet Alex hoped that was enough... for his throat couldn't force any more words from it. No... he could try and force it, yet that was all he could say... all he could feel, and all he was left to realize. That was what it all boiled down to in the end of things, and Alexander Lyons realized it in that moment. He loved her. For all that she was and all that she meant. Every part of him was understanding this, yet all of him seemed to know this from the beginning.

This time when Alex hugged her she didn't push him away but she hugged him back. She felt safe there in his arms and she didn't know in that moment how she could ever doubt him and think of him as a bad person because he wasn't in the tiniest bit, he was a wonderful person and he was the best person to have ever entered her life. She didn't know how things would be if she hadn't met him because he was such an important part of her life and things were starting to get better for them. She just heard what he said, it was so soft that she could have easily missed it but she didn't and her heart missed a beat because of those words. They were the three words she had never thought she would hear from Alex. She had stopped crying but she felt herself getting teary again because of how happy he was to hear those words and she knew she needed to say something. "I love you, too" she whispered back to him.

Alexander Lyons continued to hold Solly close to him. It was out, and he was relieved in every way shape fashion or form. He's said it and knew it fully. It made him feel something more... it was not as if he had ever doubted why he worked, yet it was certainly something more he was finding. He wanted to stay with her, forever. "Sorry... for making you hurt... Solly.. I never... wanted to do such a thing," he breathed continuing to hug her tighter.

Solly was happy to have said that, she was happy that he knew how she felt and that she now knew how he felt. The moment was almost perfect except for the sting of her eyes because of all the crying she had done before. "It's fine, Alex. I know you didn't mean to hurt me." she said that and meant it, she knew he hadn't meant to hurt her and she also knew that she had overeacted badly, she had gotten way too emotional. "I shouldn't have cried," she mumbled.

Alexander was quiet for a long time. He simply held her there and said nothing as he simply enjoyed holding her. He'd never realized it before, but despite all of Solly's ordered leadership, she was still a woman... no... wrong word... still human. She had to have needed an outlet for it all, and crying at this point was what had come from not fully draining all the stress and everything that she was going through. Solly needed him... and...and he needed her... far more than just as.....Alex's thoughts would have twisted and continued to think about it, yet after a moment, he realized that they hadn't moved from hugging.
In another moment, Alex simply suddenly smirked and then leaned towards Solomon Lance and pressed his lips gently on hers.
He wasn't sorry.

The silence was a little weird after a while, she could hear the birds singing which surprised her, she didn't think they would be out in this weather. It felt as if it was getting warmer though so maybe the clouds were moving away. She didn't know why she was even thinking about that, it might be because she was having trouble putting much order to her thoughts so thinking about something so basic was about the best she could do without giving herself a headache. She would have to sort her thoughts later.
She really hadn't been expecting the next thing that Alex did and that effected her reaction. It was an almost instinct for her to pull away when being kissed, from her partying days when drunk guys would often attempt to kiss her. Of course she regretted pulling away the second she did it but she couldn't take it back, she had pulled away from his kiss and that was going to get a reaction. She felt the smile she'd had before sink down into a frown. Her partying days fromback before she had become a hunter were still having bad effects on her and she really wished she would stop making mistakes that she should have gotten over when she became a hunter and became mature.

Solly's sudden pullback maimed Alex in a way he could not even describe. Had... had he been too quick about it? Was... was she refusing him because of.....He was left standing there and unable to say a word. After a moment, he found his hand rubbing the back of his head and a nervous laugh coming from him as he looked away unable to really find the courage to stare Solly in the face at that point.
"Sorry...." he finally stated unsure of anything else he could say at that point. Damn.. had he just messed up that badly? Suddenly a rumbling in the distance caught Alexander Lyon's ears. The sound of thunder on the horizon. "We....we better get back to hunting...." he finally said unsure of what else to say. "Or if... you just want to go home or whatever...."

Solly had completely destoryed the moment, in one small instinct action she had destoryed the whole moment and embarrassed and hurt Alex. She blinked back tears. Not tears again! She shouldn't be crying, she should have never cried, sheshould have never said what she thought about Alex, she should have never even asked about taking the wig off and they would have kept on hunting and none of this drama would have happened. She couldn't go back and change thing no matter how hard she tried so she would just have to do what she could, she didn't know what there was for her to do to try and fix things though.
"I... I.. I didn't mean to pull away," she said, her voice just above a whisper. She was looking down at the boat's floor, feeling bad enough that she just couldn't look up at him and she knew that he wasn't looking at her either, she had just seen him look away before she had. "I'm sorry..."

Alex was staring away and trying to keep his voice level. He couldn't tell if he was mad or what, and that mix of feeling was making him sick. All he could do was just stand there in silence. However, after a few more seconds, Alexander Lyons turned his head back and smiled rather lightly but with just a tinge of something pained under the surface. "No it's fine... I'm sorry I was just...." he said staking his head beating away whatever had started in his mind at that point.

Solly looked up at Alex,he was smiling but like she was going to believe he was fine, she knew it wasn't fine and it was her fault. Feeling this guilty was not fun but she deserved the feeling, she did deserve to feel horrible because she had hurt him. She had no idea why she was going to do this next thing, he would probably pull away just like she had but she... She couldn't work out a reason why she was going to do it, only that she wanted to. She leaned forward this time and kissed him, just lightly and almost expecting but not hoping that he would pull away just because she felt as if she deserved it to happen.

Alexander Lyon's entire form tensed when Solly kissed him back. He hadn't been expecting it. No not at all since she had just pulled away from him right then and there. The idea that she would always pull away from him had been present somewhere in his mind, yet as Alexander Lyons himself was kissed, he didn't pull back in the least. Instead, he wrapped his arms around her shoulders and held her deepening the kiss. It was all going to be alright. Alex knew this somewhere in his mind. Yes, it would all be ok.

Solly was surpised and very happy when she felt Alex's arms wrap around her shoulders. He wasn't going to pull away at all, she knew that and her eyes closed as her arms slid around his waist. This was so much more than she had imagined and she felt herself being lost in the kiss, wishing it would never end, it wasn't going to be her who pulled away first this time. In that moment things felt so right, so perfect and she couldn't imagine anything bad happening, she felt the most free and the most calm she had felt in so long and she didn't want that feeling to end either.

Alex continued to hold her there and kiss her until a sudden scream send a cold rush down the brown haired man's back. The kiss broke as Alex found his head turning to see what appeared to be a fight that was making its way towards them... a vampire and a werewolf were charging and clashing with one another, yet they seemed oblivious to Alex and Solomon in that moment. Alex looked back at Solly a bit apologetically before looking rather sharply back towards the clashing two. His entire body was on edge, and yet he wasn't attacking just yet.

The kiss was broken suddenly and solly turned quickly towards the scream that would have been heard all over the island. A vampire and werewolf fighting, she should have expcting somthing like that would happen when she was there, she seemed to attract supernatural trouble sometimes but then that always wasn't a bad thing, it made hunting easier a lot. She rested her hand on the knives that were hidden under her shirt. She moved slowly and took one of the knives out, hiding it just behind her back, watching for the perfect time to throw it when the vampire turned around and looked right at her. he knife wasn't going to kill the vampire but it would at least slow it down. She threw the knife making sure to aim for the vampires chest, the knife was made from werewolf teeth soit was strong enough to cut through the vampires skin.
