Mia wandered around the forest, nervously. A few hours ago, she'd left a small note in her brother's room:
Meet me in the forest tonight, as soon as you can arrive. Don't bring anyone with you, please.
Alright. Not giving him details had probably been an awful idea. But she had no other choice. She needed to talk to Axel urgently, and this was the only way......

Axel glared darkly into the forest, searching. This note that had magically apeared in his room...it intrigued him greatly.
It was his desire of revenge what had made him come. He was almost completely sure that this note was from one of Mia's murderers. His wish to avenge his sister, whom he'd practically raised and protected, and who had just been murdered. He didn't care if the killer hurt him, he knew by instinct that he was a lot stronger.
The forest was deserted. There was nbody around....except the small, frail silhouette that stood out against the nightly sky. He approached it carefully...and then...no way....
Axel gave the girl a look, shocked....because it couldn't be. "Mia...?"he asked, unsure, looking at her as though she was a ghost. Which was possible.

The young girl turned around slowly when she heard Axel's voice. She nodded lightly, but didn't dare to move at all after that. "It's me....."she all but whispered, her gaze lowered toward the ground and got lost there. "I'm alive,"she said quietly.

Axel's eyes widened, first with shock and then with relief. "Mia!"he pulled her into a hug, recklessly. "But how?! We were all pretty sure you were dead!!! How did this happen?! Tell me what....wait......what's wrong?"he asked. She was so...silent....and so still...it was unnatural. Normal human beings couldn't stay so still....and then it hit him. He pulled away and took a better look at her, she was paler than usual, and also her scent had changed...so....she was a vampire? His eyes widened even more. "Mia....you...you....!"he started, but the sentence kept slipping before he could form it.

Mia's eyes teared up. "I know...."she mused quietly. She took half a step back. "I'm so sorry...."was all she said before running away and climbing up the first tree she found. She sat on a high branch, far away from Axel's reach.
