Rose stared in shock. "Oh....oh, I see,"she said. Her expression was now completely calm. "Well, and what do you want?"she asked, a small hint of ferocity still noticeable in her voice.

"What do I want?" Jack asked completely showing his teeth now. "I want to know if you were the one who caused the medical building over there to burn...." His own eyes were sharp and on the brink of anger now. Catching himself and retracting a fraction, Jack forced a laugh from himself.

Rose blushed and looked down. "I....I didn't mean to.....I never wanted....it was an accident, I swear it was!! I couldn't hold it!!"she yelled, almost psychotically. Her eyes slowly switched from brown to a strange cyan shade, even if she couldn't notice.

Jack recoiled suddenly completely caught off guard by the sudden confession. So it was true then? How had she... Jack shook his head. She was a warlock, so there had to have just.... an accident though. "Ah," he answered aloud back. "So you allowed fire to take down so many things in there...." His eyes flashed somewhat a dead color as the images of those that he had seen in the building as it went up in flames.

Rose gave him a desperate look. "I didn't know how to stop it....."she whispered. That was her deepest secret, she'd never been able to control herself. Fire had ruined her entire life, and now she'd burned down a building. Her eyes were full of tears. "I couldn't..."she barely said.

Jack half flinched at the desperation. It was one thing that he could not bring himself to view on a daily basis. It had used to be something that he adored seeing in people, but for some reason, it was now starting to only irritate him. "Well," he answered back raising his eyebrow. "We'll just have to fix something."

Rose nodded. "Yes....."she said lifelessly. Her eyes were nearly dead, and all of a sudden, her sight grew blurred. "What the...."she muttered slowly. "Uhm..."

"Hm?" Jack asked raising an eyebrow at the sudden motion that the girl had made. "What?" he asked turning his head to see if there was something to be seen. "Is there something you need?" he asked turning his head to the other side and exchanging stances on his feet.

"No...."she lied quietly, but just then, her head started to spin. It hurt...so badly...."Uhm....I changed my mind, yes..."she whispered before collapsing into unconsciousness.

Darting forwards sharply, Jack seized the girl from falling onto the floor. His breath caught a tad as he turned his head to find a few people looking at him. Forcing himself to keep standing, Jack half walked the girl back into the elevator sharply pressing his floor level as he walked in. Getting up to the floor, Jack walked the girl into a medical room and called a nurse in.

Rose knew nothing. Nothing at all.
She had the impression that she'd been disconnected from her body and chained to a confined to the corner of her mind. Even in that condition she couldn't escape the pain, for it was the pain itself what kept her trapped.
It became unbearable.
The images of the life she had lost in the flames she had caused filled her mind and tormented her. She knew it was a nightmare...or something very similar.
But even is she was aware of it, if she couldn't wake up, then how the heck was it going to stop?!

A few hours passed, and Jack came back into the room to find that the girl was starting to awaken. Crossing his arms and leaning inwards on the door frame, Jack said nothing at all for a few seconds allowing the warlock to wake up. Once she seemed more conscious than unconscious, he started talking. "Well you certainly started a scare," Jack half sighed to himself. "Are you alright now? The nurse said that you had had a slight fever last she checked."

Rose's eyes opened slowly. She looked around, blankly, as she tried to put her thoughts together. "Um...I guess I'm better...."she answered slowly, holding a hand to her forehead. Her first impulse was to try and sit up, but that only gave her a headache.
"Damn it......"she hissed, feeling extremely mad at herself. "Oh, brilliant, I had to go and faint in front of basically everyone. Brilliant, Rose,"she muttered to herself before realising, too late, that she had lied about her name before. Oh, heck.

" 'Rose'?" Jack repeated turning his head to one side as he understood all to well what it meant. The young warlock had not spoken her true name, probably out of some context of protection, yet she had just come out and proved that she had failed. Crossing his arms, Jack said nothing and remained standing in the door way. "Interesting that you are so young but already know the secret of the world. 'Everyone's a liar, and everyone uses everyone else.' It took me years to learn that one hah."

"Really?"Rose asked irritated and mad at herself. "The one I learned was 'Never trust anyone'. But I guess it's pretty much the same, no?"she thought aloud. Rose took a deep breath before trying to stand up. It made her extremely dizzy. "Damn it......"she muttered.
