:: SARAH JANET HARPER :: Basics! :: AGE: 15 :: BIRTHDAY: June 13th :: GENDER: Female :: SEXUALITY: Straight :: FACE CLAIM: Lily Collins :: MEMBER GROUP: Protettore :: LANGUAGES SPOKEN: English, Italian. Personality! :: LIKES: Swimming (her major stress reliever), action movies, going out with her friends, fiction books, food in general, taking long walks, playing soccer, rainy days, watching sitcoms, animals (with the exception of spiders). :: DISLIKES: Spiders (afraid of them), extremely hot weather, horror movies, hunters, seeing blood (makes her faint), her metabolysm (keeps her from gaining weight), being treated like a kid, waking up early, horror movies, having nothing to do, arguing with her brother. :: HABITS: Bites her fingernails, stutters when she's nervous. :: STRENGTHS: Learns quite fast, hard worker, doesn't give up easily, has a pretty good memory, is a fast runner. :: WEAKNESSES: Stubborn, slightly short tempered, not much of a fighter, can't keep a secret, lacks in physical strenght, her concern for her older brother.
:: OVERALL PERSONALITY: Sarah is a very energic and active person. She doesn't like sitting around - she'd rather go and find something useful to spend her time on. She spends a lot of her free time trying out sports (with her favorites being swimming and soccer), or reading. Sarah doesn't like leaving things unfinished, and when she puts her mind to a goal, she works hard to reach it. She's rather stubborn, and she doesn't like to take a 'no' for an answer. She is rather bold and she tries to come up with solutions for anything that comes in her way. On a daily basis, she is pretty calm and collected. When she is around her loved ones, she can be a pretty upbeat girl who'll joke around and laugh heartilly. Also, she's not afraid to speak her mind - only trouble is, she sometimes doesn't know when to stop. She's very honest, and she says everything just as it pops into her mind, not bothering to see how her words might affect those around her. She is a bit short tempered, and shen put under a very stressing situation, she tends to snap very easily. There's also an insecure side to her that she doesn't like to show - she fears she's not strong enough to cope with hard situations. When she's stressed, she can become irascible and slightly agressive. She's not the type of girl who talks openly about her feelings unless she's talking to someone she really trusts. History! :: MOTHER: Anya Harper (deceased, former protettore) :: FATHER: George Harper (deceased, former protettore) :: SIBLINGS: Taylor Harper (18 years old, hunter) :: SPOUSE: N/A :: CHILDREN: N/A :: PETS: Jack, husky dog.
:: HISTORY: Sarah was born second to a protettore family. As a child, she really looked forward to becoming a protettore herself, and she'd go around her home asking her parents questions about their job, supernatural creatures and the type of training she'd require to accomplish her goal of joining her family as a protettore - unlike her older brother, who seemed to want nothing to do with the subject. It wasn't until they were much older that he admitted to her that he didn't like the fact that there were supernatural creatures around, and that he had no intention on following his family's footsteps, as much as that might disappoint them. Sarah was genuinely concerned about him, and she told him so many times, but he pretty much just ignored her concern.
When she was ten years old, her parents went out on a mission, and never came back. After her parents died, Sarah became devastated, but tried her hardest to move on. Taylor, on the other hand, just grew to hate his parents' job even more than he already did, claiming that if they had normal jobs, then nothing would have happened to them. From what Sarah could gather, her brother had always wanted to have a regular life - as oposed to the one full of supernatural creatures that he'd put up with for ages. Both siblings were taken in by their aunt, who was a retired protettore. She started her training at the age of thirteen, but she kept it a secret from her brother, as she was sure he'd not approve of it. However, Taylor found out a few months after she started training. Sarah never knew how he found out, and she never dared to ask, but the revelation brought a major argument between the two siblings. Sarah insisted that it was her choice and he had no right to criticize it, while Taylor insisted that her choice was going to get her killed one day, and that he didn't want to lose another family member. Their relationship became very strained after that. Eventually, Taylor left the house and broke all contact with his family, much to Sarah's dismay. She resumed her training, but did so with a constant fear that her brother might end up joining the hunter side - which, unknown to her, he has already done. :: ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE: From Calamity's Cry:
This place, all over again. It never changed, did it? Always the same people. The same faces. Same buildings, streets. Twilight Town never changed. She liked that... that everything remained untouched by time. So that everything was exactly the way she vaguely remembered it. Like a blurry picture, the time she had spent... in the afterlife, probably, had become quite hazy, hard to see. Her memories had partly vanished, but Twilight Town was the only place she knew she'd never forget.
The most memorable thing about it? That sunset. It was beautiful. A perfect mix of bright oranges, reds and pinks, with the slightest trace of a nightly sky at the edge. The ever lasting day. A day that would never end, and a night that would never fall. It was a sight to see, and it remained as breathtaking as ever. It hadn't changed either. And, that was okay. If it had, she wouldn't have recognized the place. Or, if anything, she would have found it to be rather different. Such a pretty sight... she thought, nostalgically. Xion might not have a heart, she might not even be allowed to exist, like all the other nobodies, but she remembered. Those memories of spending time with her friends at the clock tower, eating ice cream and just... talking about whatever they could come up with. The conversations had blurred from her mind, as well, but that was okay. The memories were there, they just... weren't as clear as they should be. And, really, Xion didn't care.
How long had it been since she woke up? A week at most? Xion didn't really remember that. She remembered having awoken in an alleyway, dazed, confused, and really tired. At least she hadn't been surrounded by the Heartless again. She doubted she was in condition to summon her Keyblade right now, seeing how exhausted she was. A whole week had gone by, and she had travelled the worlds restlessly, looking for safe places to stay at. But... there was something... odd, something out of place, that she couldn't quite place together. She'd come across a series of worlds that she didn't even know of, and that she hadn't wanted to explore. Sure, seeing new places was fun, but, really, she had something important to focus on, like...
... like finding her friends again. She needed to see them, so very badly! She was dying to meet with them again, go for ice cream, sit on the clock tower, and just talk. Like the old times. She might not really remember anymore, but there could always be new memories, right? New good moments. Laughter, tears, new treasured moments... what did it really matter, if she had forgotten? Or, if they had forgotten, even? The thought hurt a little bit, but it wasn't much - they could always meet again, and start over.
Xion walked down the streets, absent-mindedly, looking around at Twilight Town with a sad smile on her place. It never changed. Twilight Town always remained the same, and she loved it, even though...
... even though it made her nostalgic, and sad.
