Genetrix Usir's OutfitTagged: Open Word Count: 379Genetrix grumbled as she finally passed the front gate of the Hunter Headquarters. Of course, on her first day reporting to the place, her access card would throw a tantrum and almost get her in trouble with the head guard that ran the gate. Didn't help that her fashion sense of the day had dressed her in such bright, un-hunter clothes, but she couldn't help it sometimes. She patted at the orange edge of her top as she tucked the card back into her small purse, and looked up.
The short, not very intimidating building met the sidewalk smoothly, her boots not making much noise as they clopped across the cement and onto the cool tile of the entrance hall. The man behind the desk look at her in disgruntled disbelief as he spoke quietly into his hand radio. His eyes rolled before he looked down at whatever the wall of the desk hid. She glared at him, and headed for the only door in the room.
Down it, she found a bank of elevators, once again requiring the damn access card. With a few more cuss words, she pulled the card from her purse, and hoped to whatever entity is out there that it would work the first time, and not get her into trouble again. Lucky for Genetrix, it did, and the cold steel of the door slid open before her. She stepped on, and turned, pressing the button for the first floor that was below ground.
As the door closed and the elevator began to descend, her stomach dropped and her heart clenched as her claustrophobia began to catch a hold of her. She began trying to force air into her lungs, which just barely worked by the time the moving steel trap of death came to a stop, and the doors open. With a heavy frown, she straightened her clothes, and stepped out.
Straightening her ponytail, she looked around, quickly realizing that her clothes were very un-huntery as it dawned on her that everyone here was wearing black or similar dark clothes. A deep blush spread across her pale cheeks, and she found her mind blank, lost as to where she should head next to start introducing herself into this branch of the Hunters that was new to her.

It was actually somewhat rare for Jace to make the full trip to the Hunter HQ. It was rather out of his way and rather out of his region for that matter. However, there was a time ever year that he stopped and made his way over there to check in, talk to those that were there, and get the latest news on hunting plans and the like on a global scale. This happened to be one of those trips. He had been there for a few days now, having secured a room for himself on base while there and going about what business there was. Recently a rather large hunting mission had caught his eye, but he wasn't quite sure that he wanted to go with a group. Normally, he was a solitary hunter by nature, and thus he wasn't sure if he would even be good in a small group. It was a thought, however, and he certainly wanted to get in on the hunters and possibly climb their actual ranks. Sector twelve was the place to be, but of course they were elitists and seemed to have their own group, sigh.
Walking down the hallway, Jace drew a hand and ran fingers through his short blond hair pushing it from his eyes and gazing around at the rather otherwise blank walls and the few people that passed him from time to time. It was unfamiliarity quiet there, but then again, there was probably talk going on beyond the doors that littered the hallway and held certain meetings for certain hunters. A part of him wanted to just pop in and see what there was, but he disliked the idea of being seen as rude or cutting into a conversation unwarranted. Sighing to himself, he continued forwards towards the elevators. Maybe he would go up above ground for a bit and wander around Saipan before coming back to see if there was anyone that actually wanted to talk to him.
Just as he was coming to the elevator, it opened revealing a rather flashy woman within. Stopping, he frowned briefly wondering what she was doing there. She couldn't be a common person there could she? A tourist that had gotten lost somehow? No the had cards that kept people in their place, and there was no way that could be the case. Then what... An interest had sparked whether he had intended for it to or not, and after a moment, Jace stepped closer waving a hand. "Yo, you need something?" he called to her.
