The day was gloomy and rainy as Ator pulled his long coat tighter around him, the cool air nipping at his skin. There weren't that many people out and about today on the town. The sky was clouded over and everything was wet from mist.
Dragging his feet, Ator turned down a small road which lead up to a old grocery store. Thinking about his pet Marten, Alex, Ator walked through the doors and headed straight to the back of the building. He quickly moved past all the people in the store. Humans, maybe a werewolf here and there. They're all useless to him.
Sighing as he finally reached the back of the store, Ator approaches the meat section. Clearing his throat, he leans on the counter as he looks over the kitchen. A small round man turned around as he heard someone clear their throat. "Hello there, Ator. What can I do ya for?" he asked as he wiped his hands on his black apron.
"Afternoon Max. I just need the usual." "We have some ham on sale. You know, Alex might like to try something new every once in a while... he's not such a stuck up stubborn creature as you are." Max chuckled. "Throw it in the bag if you must. You best do it quickly and with less talk or we will add some little delights to the bag of meat.. At least you would talk less and work more then." Ator growled. "Suit yourself. I'll throw in the leftovers from lastnight as well." "I'll be back in a few. You best be done."
At that, Ator turned on his heel and headed off back into the heart of the store. Shaking his head at the memory of his conversation with Jack before he died, "You have to appreciate everyone, Ator. Even if all you want to do is wring them by their neck. If you at least act like you respect everyone, they will respect you. Grow a pair and bite your tongue. It will do you some good, kid." he headed down the nut isle. Grabbing a few containers of assorted nuts and peanuts, he proceeded farther down the isle to grab some bags of raisins and dried fruit.
After Ator collected everything that he needed, he headed back to visit the butcher. Reaching the kitchen, he finds a large bag sitting on the counter with Alexander Nixon written on it. Shrugging to himself, Ator grabbed the bag and proceeded to the checkout at the front of the store.
After paying for all of his food items, Ator walked back out into the cold rainy weather. "This is really my kind of day." He says quietly to himself as he trudged on toward the pub. Even though it was just past lunch time, to him, it was never too early to start. Keeping his head down, he walked up the town street, not bothering to use the sidewalk.

“Oneechan?” Sara sighed. She'd been over this with her little brother before. She put up with speaking Japanese in the united states as respect for her mother and father. But now that they were in England, she'd made it clear to him that she wanted to speak only English. She had no love for her birth country since it turned its back on her family. They'd already had an argument while unpacking their belongings in their new home. Yukki promised he would not be a burden to her if she allowed him to come with her. She was beginning to think maybe it was a mistake. This was her burden to shoulder after all. She still looked all of 23 years old, and it had been almost 10 years since she became a vampire. People were beginning to take notice at her lack of aging. Here in England she could lie and say she was 20. That would give her at least 10 years before she would have to move on again. She wiped her suds covered hands on her apron and turned off the tap. She could wash the rest of the rest later. She glanced over her shoulder to the teen at the table glaring at her while folding laundry. Yukki still looked upset. “Yukki. English please.” The tall boy stood. Even though he was just 15 years old, he towered over his older sister at 6'2”. Sara herself was just 5'6”. He frowned at her. He'd been sulking for the better part of the early morning. They had still to adjust to the new time zone and had worked through the night to unpack. He crossed his arms over his chest. “Honki nano?” (Are you serious?) He asked. Still defiant. She could tell by the tone in his voice and the scent of him that he was gearing up for a rematch. This really bothered her for some reason. “Yes. I'm perfectly serious, Yukki. We've been over this.” She said, more irritation in her voice than she wanted. She'd not fed in over a week. It was putting her on edge. She knew this but couldn't make herself settle down. Her brother was human. The blood-lust would only continue to build. She needed to go sate her hunger soon. He threw up his arms “Wakarimasen Doshite” (I don't understand) We're not in public. I can speak Japanese here if I wa--” “Mou takusan!” (Thats Enough!)She shouted, slapping her hand on the counter then turning to face him. She didn't know where that outburt of anger came from. She saw his shocked expression and only then did she realize that she'd shattered the marble countertop in her haste. “Shinjirarenai!” (Unbelievable!) He scolded before he could stop himself. He stared at her, and she at him in return. There was no emotion in her features. Just the flawless, almost porcelain skin. He could not see the hurt there, but knew he'd crossed a line somewhere. He could imagine the color draining from her face, the look of disappointment in herself for her slip, even though it was not possible for her to show it any more. His features softened. She looked away. “What's wrong with me?” She asked herself. It wasn't that big a deal. She was letting it get to her. “Gomennasia” (I'm sorry) she whispered, undoing her apron and placing it on the counter over the shattered spot. Yukki took a deep breath and exhaled. He promised he wouldn't be a burden. He was doing a lousy job so far. “No. I'm the one who needs to apologize, Onee-- Sarah” Putting his arms down he took the three steps to close the distance between them. Sara turned to face him as he approached. She knew he was going to hug her. She put her hands out to stop him, worried about her blood-lust. “Wait, Yukki... I lied back home when mom asked if I'd fed. I thought I would be ok till we got settled, but the stress and jet-lag look to have made me burn through my last meal quicker than than normal. I'm not safe right now.” He stopped short, but not out of fear. Out of respect and understanding. “For what it's worth, I'm also sorry. But what kind of little brother would I be if I didn't keep up with my duties of aggravating my big sister? I'd be kicked out of the little brothers guild for sure.” He joked, a smile at his lips. She smiled too, looking down. She was so lucky to have him. Even in the beginning, the days and weeks after she became a vampire. He never showed any fear, even then, when she lost control so easily and did unspeakable horrors. He was always protecting her. Always there for her. To him, she'd never changed. She was still his Oneechan. “Thank you” She said, smiling back She straightened her pink sweater. It went well with the jeans she had on with the embroidered pink butterflies on the back pockets. “I need to go out for a bit.” “I know.”
Sarah walked to the front door and stepped outside onto the foyer but never made it to the steps. “Matte!” (Wait!) She heard Yukki shout from inside. He rushed out to her and handed her a jacket and raincoat. He looked left and right to make sure no one was around to listen. “Hurry and hunt, ok? You almost went out into the cold and rain without these.” She shook her head at herself. Why was she so off? She'd been hungry before. Its been years since she showed any disorientation. “Thank you, otautosan. (little brother) I can always count on you” She slipped on her coat and walked out into the weather.
This was definitely different. England did not have the open spaces that the united states had. It took her a while to find a place to hunt in her new surroundings. It'd taken her allot longer than she planed on to feed. It was all so new. Almost alien. All the sights, sounds, and smells she was used to were gone. She'd need to have Yukki help her get familiar with the town and surrounding countryside.
“Yukki” She mumbled. There was nothing to eat at the flat for him. They'd just moved in and had not been shopping yet. She turned the corner onto a street she remembered seeing some shops at, just as the wind changed direction. It hit her so hard she came to a sudden stop on the sidewalk.“Dragon” she gasped, The scent was too damn close. “Damn this storm!” she thought looking up to see a guy walking in the middle of the street towards her. “Shit!. No way to avoid him now.” her eyes flicked left and right. She sharpened all her senses to take in her surroundings. Middle of the day and there was hardly a soul about. A vehicle on the street she turned from was going in the opposite direction. A couple a block away were shaking out their umbrellas on their stoop, and were closing the door behind them. What could she do? No way she'd turn around. If the wind changed again, she'd be blind to attack from behind. Can't rely on sound alone in this weather. He'd see her soon enough, if not already. She'd only run into two dragons in her 10 years of being a vampire. The first, a female, pretended Sara didn't exist, not even glancing in her direction. The 2nd, a male, grabbed her arm digging his claws into it painfully as he walked by and made it clear that if it wasn't for the crowd around them, he'd torn her to pieces. He warned her to never sully his view or air with her presence or stench again. Today there was no crowd. No innocents to consider. She'd never seen a dragon in its true form. Did she even stand a chance in a fight with one?
She started forward again, almost as if she'd never stopped. To blink would have caused a person to miss the whole thing.

OutfitAtor continued on his long walk to the pub. It was about a 2 mile walk from the grocery store. His arms were already feeling numb from where his heavy load of bags were pinching the nerves in his arms. He was startled by a loud telephone ring. Dropping all his bags, he swore and pulled his phone out of his pocket. "Hello." he said in a very agitated tone of voice. The reply was nothing but silence. "Hello? I don't know who the hell this is, but if it's the chick I met at the pub, it was a one night thing hun, nothing against you. You just weren't all that. I don't know how you got this number, but don't call it again."Hanging up the phone, Ator shoved it in his pocket and continued to pick up his bags of food that were thrown across the road. Sighing, he shoved the items back into their bags and went to stand up. After taking just one step his phone went off again and a bag split, sending all the meat he got back onto the road. "I told you to stop calling me! Listen, you...." he was really agitated now. The rest of his sentence that was being growled into the phone was nothing but foul language and threats. While he normally wouldn't mind to talk to any chick, no matter what the case was, he felt threatened that she had his number... at least he hoped it was a she. He talked on the phone as he stumbled around trying to get the cold meat back into the bags. Dropping the phone as he picked up a small bag of meat that had been opened by the hard stubble on the ground, the phone went on speaker. "I just wanted to see if you were okay. I was worried about you, Ator..... I'm not just some chick *sob* you met at a bar...*sob*...We had something *sniffle* together..... Please talk to me and stop *sniffle* yelling....*sob*... I love you..." Her voice was tiny and sobbing. Ator looked down at the phone and for a moment a flash of pity came across his face. Once this girls drawn out sentence. Her last words were merely a whisper. Looking up from the phone and food on the ground, a few things hit him. Hard. First, there was a small child riding a bike which crashed into Ator, ripping the other bags that were on the ground and sending the child through the air. The other thing that startled him was the small girl that was walking toward him. Catching the boy before he hit the ground, Ator grunted and set him down. Wanting to be mad with the child, he saw the fear in the child's eyes. Knowing what that felt like, he patted the kid's back and picked up his bike. "Better watch where you're going next time, kid." The boy grabbed his bike quickly and shuttered under Ator's touch. He jumped on his bike and took off down the road. "What happened, Ator? What's going on? You're not paying attention to me." The phone called out again. "Hush, now. I will deal with you later" He whispered, picking up the phone and closing it again. He slid it into his pocket and went to pick up his food, while glancing up at the girl that was walking his way. She's not so bad looking. Really small, but cute. Maybe she'll want a drink or something. He thought to himself. After getting what he could fit into one bag, he picked up his stuff and glancing at her again, began to walk toward her. As he grew closer, he could smell it. Oh. My. God. He felt his stomach drop as he knew his chances were out the window. Vampire It was all he could think. Maybe she's not like the others He thought. Once within 5 feet of her he spoke up. "Hi. I'm Ator. He said in almost a whisper, his voice now sounding foreign to him. He winced a little at the smell of her, but after standing a moment and being still, he grew used to it. Just as he went to talk to her again, the sky opened up and began pouring. "Damn english weather. Come with me to the pub?" He asked her before setting off at a quick pace toward his destination.

A sudden noise of a phone ringing startled Sarah. She tried to keep her eyes forward to not make eye contact, yet almost stopped and braced for an attack and forced herself to keep walking. The world slowed so that with her enhanced sight she could read the labels on his groceries as they slowly fell from his grasp and scattered on the asphalt. Each item making a distinctive sound as it hit and then slid, rolled, or bounced in random directions. Her eyes flicked up to the Dragon's face. She expected to see a mask of hatred and anger in the eyes that would be glaring back. Instead she saw just a man who fumbled for a cell phone who's volume was turned up much too high. He wasn't even looking at her. She almost stopped again, but the conversation the dragon was having on the phone forced her eyes to go in his direction. He was adgitated, but towards the person on the phone. Sara slowed. She heard the whole conversation of both parties. She was so tuned into this that she didn't hear, smell, or see the child on the bike until he jammed on the brakes and hit the Dragon. She saw the child get launched through the air. She wanted so badly to run and catch him before he hit pavement, but what would the Dragon do to see a Vampire running what would seem to be “at” him. She did stop then. How could she not. Again the world moved in slow motion. To her surprise, the dragon moved with quickly and caught the child, forsaking his groceries and phone. This gave her pause. The Dragon seemed to have good in him after all. She started to walk again, Her pause was once more so brief, and conducted with such grace and precision that if not looking right at her at that second it took to happen, you'd never have seen her pause. Her eyes were again looking straight ahead. She only saw him glance at her once the whole time.
Sara watched the dragon from her peripheral vision. He was tall, with black hair like her brother. His eyes, however were like an electric blue. His build was much more athletic also. He looked at her now, and Sara almost stiffened. If he didn't already know, he'd know soon enough. The rest of what happened was a blur. One minute she was walking past him and more scared than she'd been in a long time, and now she was walking beside him to a Pub, of all places.
She still couldn't make herself belive what happened. He was looking at her. Several emotions crossed his facial features. He spoke to her, but it wasn't threatening. He had gentle voice. Her eyes widened in fear at first, but then surprise. “Artor” she thought. She wanted to reply but could not find her voice. She saw him wince, then, ever so briefly. She stopped. Really stopped. She turned her head and looked the man in the eyes. She knew then that he was on to her being a Vampire. The rain came puring down and he walked away from her. He'd said something that she couldn't comprehend in her initial shock. She noticed she'd stopped breathing and took a deep breath.
“Doshite” (why?) was her first thought. Her eyes had gone wide. She shook her head to clear it. He wasn't going to attack her. He wanted her to go have a drink with him? “Demo..Hontou desu ka” (But...are you sure?)She whispered back to him. She blushed, realizing she was speaking Japanese. “I... ok". Sara turned and walked after him to catch up. She kept her head down against the heavy rain. She didn't say anything more for a few dozen steps. But then... “Saraitha. Just Sara is fine”.

The pub she sat in was pretty crowded because of the rain. Most of the people inside just wanted to get away from it. Others were drinking and talking with friends. The interior was pretty dark as far as decorations go. Thalia took a sip of her pint. She was trying to drink her memories of home away. They had once again reared their ugly heads into her mind when she first came to this country.
It had taken a lot of time and money getting to England. Mostly time, since she had to learn to control her bloodlust around humans. That bastard of a sire had only thrown humans into her cage whenever he felt like it, teaching her about her super strength and speed, but not control of her bloodlust. She sneered to herself at the thought of him and took a large gulp of beer. Looking around, she noticed a young woman next to her. The woman had long auburn hair, and was wearing a low-cut shirt and jeans, despite the weather. She's pretty hot, her Vampire side thought. Maybe her blood tastes as good as she looks.
Thalia shook her head. There was always constant struggle in her mind: her Vampire side and her Hunter side. Her Hunter side usually won, but it was after long and stressful mental battle. She drained the rest of her pint and ordered another one. As she did, the woman next to her exited the pub with a man on her heels. Pity, her Hunter side thought. The man was a vampire. She would have gone after him, but it was still too bright out to do a killing, despite it being afternoon. After another long drought of beer, Thalia sighed and slouched in her chair, wishing for something exciting to happen.

Ator walked quickly with the girl to the pub. hmm, Sara, huh he thought quietly to himself. By the time they made it to the pub they were soaked head to toe. He opened the doors and held one for Sara. "Here ya go." Stepping inside, he took off his dripping jacket and hung it on a rack near the door, setting his bag of goods under it. He immediately looked around to see who was in today.
From the looks of running mascara, dripping hair and lack of drinks, there were a lot of people at the pub simply to get out of the rain. What a waste of space. The smell of vampires was stronger than usual today. He ran his eyes over the women of the room. Humans, mostly, were not looking too appealing today. Maybe I should have stayed.... His thoughts were cut short when he saw a flash of bright red.
Walking over to the bar, he sat down and ordered two beers. He glanced down the bar to the girl sitting at the end. What's my deal today... Vampires? Really? He couldn't reason with himself. He looked down at Sara who was taking some time to get situated. "So what brought you to England? Why haven't I seen you before? You new here?" He was so full of questions. Not his normal way to talk to people.
Ator felt his phone vibrate a few times in his pocket. Pulling it out he noticed he had missed a few texts. Sighing, he opened the phone and glanced over the texts. Ator... Answer me. Did I do something wrong? I know you're with a girl.. I saw her!! Creep... You know, she's not that different from me, I know you want me.. Damn girls wont leave me alone. God.
[/b] He closed his phone, his brow creasing in an agitated line. Taking a sip of his beer, he noticed a couple sitting at a table near the bar. They seemed to be arguing. There were others. Single guys leaning against the bar, tipsy girls stumbling and giggling at God knows what. They're starting early.. He thought, smirking. He glanced down the bar again, his blue eyes pierced by the red hair. He was just about to start talking to Sara again when someone shoved him and the girl from behind. Hard. Spilling his beer and hitting the bar with his chest, Ator spun around breathless. "What the hell is your problem?! Is there not enough room to back the hell off?" He was pissed. The guy looked tall from where he was sitting. The man looked over at the girl sitting next to Ator, running his eyes greedily over her. "That's it... She's mine, asshole" Standing up, he realized he was much taller than the other man. Ator towered over the drunk, being 6'4. He grabbed the man's hair and dragged him outside. Once outside, he threw the man on the ground, mud going everywhere. "Don't covet my possessions. You better leave, now, if you know what's good for you. Don't let me see you here again!" He didn't know what had come over him. I hate being a damn dragon! He curses at himself as his body quivers in anger. He could feel his anger wanting to shift him and eat the worthless soul of a man that lay in the mud before him. Ator pushed the doors open again and walked back into the pub. "Are you alright, dear?" He placed his hand gently on her shoulder, inspecting her to make sure she wasn't hurt anywhere. assholes Shaking his head, he looked up at the bartender. Knowing exactly what Ator was requesting, the bartender passed over a bottle of Whiskey and a shot-glass. Not taking a moment longer, he went to work. His chest still hurting from the bar's hard hit. Sarah walked at Ators side towards the pub. She was glad he didn't say anything more just then. She was still trying to sort out the fact that she was walking next to a Dragon to go have a drink. Reaching the pub, she was further surprised when Ator held the door for her. Chivalry wasn't dead after all. she thought and smiled.
Her eyes scanned the room as she took her coat off and hung it next to Ators. It was hard to make out scents with all the liquor soaked humans about. Her eyes stopped at the redhead at the bar, and glancing over, she notices Ator also noticed her. She was the only one not trashed, so the scent of vampire had to be her. Vampires couldn't really get drunk, after all.
Sara followed him to the bar and sat with him. She noticed him glance at the vampire at the end of the bar and shook her head. So was he just a playboy then? She pushed the thought away. She didn't even know him, or anything about. She shouldn't jump to conclusions. She found herself also look down the bar at the other vampire. The barkeep arrived with their drinks. Before she could thank him he asked her a question. She was about to answer him, but once again was interrupted. His phone went off and he immediately answered it.
Sara looked away and down at her drink. She didn't know what to do. Was it her fault? Was she doing something wrong? She glance at Ator and he'd taken a drink of his brew and then looked to a couple arguing, and then down the Bar at the redhead again.
Maybe this was a mistake, She thought. She almost made the decision to excuse herself and leave when someone pushed her from behind. She was startled and noticed Ator had also been pushed. She turned to see a drunkard leering at her, drooling at the mouth. She gasped, mouth agape as she watched Ator stand and throw the bum out with little real effort. It was over before it began. Ator just towered over the dumb idiot and quickly overpowered him. Sara sat there in utter shock. And the words she heard Ator yelling. One beer and she was his woman? His possessions? Her mind raced in all directions. How did things go so badly so quickly?
She came back to her senses rather quickly after that. She sat, set her jaw and turned her back to him, facing the bar. He came up behind her and put his hand on her shoulder. The barkeep walked right over an put a bottle of liquor on the table without even being asked. She shrugged off his hand as she stood, staring him down as best she could. “I'm not your Dear, your woman, and definitely NOT your possession!” She scolded him. She turned her back on him and started to walk away, then turned on her heel. A move so graceful it looked like it was done by a skater on ice.
She looked at the big man who while sitting was at her eye level. She looked about as upset and embarrassed as a vampire could possibly look. She opened her mouth to say something. Close it. Closed her eyes and shook her head, then opened them again and stared him down before saying. “All I wanted was a friend, and if the drink came with it, so be it. But this?....” She looked away not knowing what to do. She was well aware that the bar had gone silent and everyone. Every single person was staring at them. She may have cried then if she vampires could.

Ator's eyes grew wide as Sara got up and walked away from him. She's leaving, after I just saved her? "I... uhm... Look, I didn't mean it like that.... You're just with me getting a drink.. That bastard had no reason to be all over you like that. He didn't even apologize. I'm sorry" What did you just say, man? Are you apologizing to her? Shut up. It's time for some change So you do have heart... He cast his eyes down to the ground as he argued with himself in his racing head.
He wasn't drunk yet, but he knew he was intoxicated. His head was reeling, pounding a little at the temples. He looked back up at the girl he was with. "If you want to leave I understand. I wish you wouldn't though. Normally I don't like being around women outside of the pub but if you would rather talk somewhere else.." He knew he was feeling bad for what he had done.
He wanted so bad to turn back to the bar and just drink this one off. He thought about the redhead at the end of the bar. Maybe that would have been a better shot He thought about the girl that texted him and wouldn't leave him alone. While all of these things raced by, something else popped up. Friend She wanted to be friends? I don't do friends, babe.. I shift and then eat them. I don't want to hurt you He didn't want to tell her yet that he was Dragon.. but he was sure she could probably smell it on him.
He stood up from his bar stool and walked over to where her coat was hanging. Waiting to see her next move. I want a friend. I need one, but I don't know what I would do if I lost one again.

Sara was angry with him for the way he acted and the things he'd said. She looked at Ator as he apologized. He looked down before their eyes met. She took his words and repeated them to herself in her mind. She was a Vampire, he must know that. Did she really need his protection? No. Not really... but... he knows that. So why?... He looked back up at her and their eyes met. She saw he was genuinely sorry. And something else. Remorse? She look away. Casting her eyes down. He stood and walked past her. She just stood there. I don't know him or anything about him. How can I judge him based on a drunkard? He may have said some things she didn't like, but he was just trying to protect her. He knew she was a vampire, yet he'd acted on her behalf as if she was just a normal woman. He just acted like I was normal she told herself.
Sara smiled then. So he was assertive and alfamale-ish. Was that such a bad thing? How would she know. She'd been avoiding relationships for the better part of 10 years. She was so scared she would slip and hurt someone. Sara turned and walked to where Ator stood waiting by the door. She bowed, apologizing in Japanese before catching herself, straightening and looking up at him. Smiling she said “What I said was, I'm sorry. I think I overreacted.” She reached out and took his hand “Lets just start over, k? Pretend that idiot never happened.” She looked away a little embarrassed. “I never did get that drink you promised.”

Thalia took another few sips of her pint when a draft of wind lightly hit her. The scent of dragon and vampire wafted over, making her muscles tense. Her head turned toward the door as an Asian woman and a dark-haired man walked into the pub. She could tell the scents belonged to them. But why would a dragon be accompanied by a vampire? I thought they were mortal enemies, her Hunter side chipped in.
The dragon had glanced at her a few times before getting into a small scuffle with a drunk man. He went on about claiming the vampire was his. Thalia scoffed in her mind. If anything, she wanted in on the action, but before she could even budge, the dragon had thrown the drunkard out of the pub. The Asian woman yelled at him for his possessiveness. Thalia figured that this was probably a first date or something, and relaxed, running a hand through red hair.
They look like fun, her Vampire side said. Maybe I can make a few friends. Then again, she was a Hunter. She should be planning to kill the creatures. Lifting the sleeve of her striped hoodie, hazel eyes stared at her Hunter mark, contemplating what she should do. She was a vampire now, which meant that she was probably the hunted, not the hunter. Making up her mind, Thalia drained her pint. It took her a while after arriving in England to figure out that vampires can't get drunk, but that didn't stop her from having a few drinks for old times sake.
She paid for her drink and walked over to the couple. She noticed the vampire was still around him, so he probably apologized to her. “That was some scene you caused there,” she said, slightly wrinkling her nose at the stench of dragon. The move was so subtle she'd doubt he said it, but as for the vampire... “You're lucky you didn't get kicked out.” She sat in an empty seat next to the woman, hoping that she wasn't intruding, and hoping harder that the dragon was still in a good mood, otherwise this was going to get ugly.

Ator smirked a little as the girl bowed in front of him. Everone in the bar's eyes on them. His muscles in his body tensed up when Sara took his hand. He hadn't had any gentle physical contact in a long time. He shrugged and said, "I'm sorry." Walking with her hand in hand they sat down at the bar again. He looked warily at their hands and pulled his away.
Waving at the bartender, he ordered another beer for himself, pushing the whiskey glass away and told him to get Sara whatever she wanted. His heart was still racing from all the excitements of the past 10 minutes. He looked down at his hands. Scars traced around his fingers and up his arms. He ran his eyes over the tattoo on the underside of his wrist, remembering his decisions growing up.
After getting his beer and taking a sip, Ator glanced over at Sara. "So, uh.. how are.." He was interrupted by a female voice. The redhead He looked up at her, an eyebrow raised. He shifted in his seat. Something was a little off about her. "Just... *glances down at Sara and back to the redhead* watching out for my friend mam." He looked back at Sara, watching her facial reactions to his steady choice of words.
He scoffed a little as the redhead mentioned getting kicked out. "Me? kicked out? You're not from around here are you? I practically own this place" He informed her, chuckling. He looked back up from Sara to the bartender and smirked when they made eye contact, the big man shrugging his shoulders and getting back to cleaning mugs.
After taking another swig from his beer, he set it down on the counter and looked at the other girl. "I'm Ator. Ator Nixon."

Sarah walked with Ator back to the bar. She was a bit surprised at his reaction to her touch. She didn't have much experience with relations, but she knew enough to know there was something to that. Had Ator been hurt at some point? She took note and brushed it aside. She really shouldn't try to guess. The noise picked up as the patrons went about their business now that the show looked to be over. Siting back down in their original stools at the bar, Sara ordered another pint. She looked on in silence as he seemed to be reminiscing about something related to the scars and tattoo. She wondered if it would be rude to ask about them.
Sara looked up as Ator spoke. The redhead girl interrupted his question, which irritated her. Ator and her had not been able to have a single decent conversation since running into each other. It was almost comical. She looked over at the redhead, then back at Ator just as he glanced down at her. Her expression was neutral, her smile was gone. Other than that there was no other emotion in her features. While they exchanged words, Sara stared at the vampire. Her red hair and hazel eyes. She was cute, and her choice of wardrobe was also impressive. Two vampires in such a small town could be a problem. And most vampires where part of a coven. Could there be more of them? Sara would have to have a talk with her about how this would play out. If people started going missing or turned up dead, even just one or two in a town this small would have hunter breathing down their throats.
Ator's chuckle alerted Sara to the fact that she'd been staring at the redhead. She glanced back at him just in time to smile her appreciation of his better choice of words. She caught the exchange with the Bartender. They seemed to be on very familiar terms. And the redhead was right. Anyone else throwing a person out of the bar would have earned himself getting kicked out in return. The fact that no one said a word about it lent credibility to his words. Did he really own the place?...
Sara glanced back at the redhead as she walked past and sat next to her. The girl didn't seem to want to cause any trouble. Just looked like she wanted company. Why not?. She wondered how she would go about asking for a meeting. She could break the ice and then ask her.
Ator introduced himself. Sara followed his lead. “Saraitha Miafugi” she said, smiling now.
