Once you have loved someone this much You doubt it could fade Despite how much you'd like it to God how you'd like it, you'd like it to fade Lupe, now renamed Ice, stalked the pretty streets of the city Saipan, happy to be out of the cold and into shorts and a tank top. She looked happy and careless as the sun poured down on her tanned skin, but she was quite the opposite, and was brooding over her new job as an important part of the Section 12. She missed the days of her youth that she spent with the Old Ice. She left the city quickly, and started heading towards the fences that she could see in the distance. A bike or a car might be faster, but she wanted the time to think. She had gotten wind that Ren Saber had showed up in town, and was possibly back to stay after years of absence. That was the main reason that she had showed up at the HQ. Taking out the small, thin card from her pocket as she neared the fence gate, Ice slid it through the card reader, and let her eye be scanned by the camera above. With a sigh, the door opened near silently as she headed for the deceptively one story building, not paying much attention to what was around her since she was within the fences. Though, if anything attacked her right at this moment, there wouldn't be any hesitation to kill it. Her blonde ponytail trailed in the wind as she opened the door and slid into the cool air-conditioned lobby, and ran into somebody taller then her. As a force of habit, she caught herself on the wall, and brought her leg up to try to kick the person before she even realized who it was that she had run into. "Oh, hey Ren," Ice said.

The air was light and breezy, and the entire island seemed to be enjoying the warmth of spring as it finally came. People were on the move to different areas, yet overall, it was rather quiet. A rather calm looking blond haired man walked through one of the small villages that were not too far from the HQ. He was taller and paler than most in the area, yet he didn't stick out as much as one would have imagined. He wore a dark shirt and pants along with a pair of black boots despite the fact that most would find wearing something that clinging in the spring somewhat hot. Following close to his master, a tall and thin black Labrador seemed to watch the entire area and threaten anyone that looked in their direction with instant death if they even so much as looked at Ren.
Ren Saber sighed outwards as he walked but managed to keep his face from expressing any sort of emotion. He appeared far more muscular than he had since he had disappeared and far more tan, yet his heritage still made him pale in the end of it all. This... is not going to be fun.... Ren thought to himself already wishing to smack away the nostalgia that was washing over him. The HQ had moved from where it had been before, yet it was still HQ which meant that Solomon and Alex were there, and there was a great possibility of running into one of the Sector members. He had disappeared.... for nearly five years... five years without telling anyone where he was. One would have thought the weapon he still carried with him, his Saber that bound him in the end to hunting would have killed him, yet because it hadn't, one could assume that he was not traitorous in the end of it all. There are going to be questions.... this second thought was something of an after thought to the first. Of course there were going to be questions... but....What answer was there really to give in the end of it all?
Thantos let out a growl that caused Ren to blink and realize that he was at the gate of the HQ. Ren rubbed his temple realizing that he had not even realized that he had gone that far just yet. A very pale looking man was waiting out front, and all Ren could do was stare at him and wonder if the man knew what he was getting himself into. "I am Ren Saber," Ren stated feeling the name rolling off his own tongue. It was... odd...somehow... The man seemed to nod very quickly and then opened the gate without even another word. Ren walked inwards and then into the first story. His eye moved around the area as the man had followed him inwards and the disappeared somewhere. Suddenly feeling someone bump into him, Ren turned around and stared at the girl before raising an eyebrow. "Hm?" he asked. Thantos seemed to let out a growl but was silenced by Ren's hand.

"Ah, you don't remember me well do you? Well, I have changed a lot in five years. I am the new Ice Claymore, and what my name was a year ago was Lupe Gur," said Ice as she brushed back her hair. She felt a weird need to look perfect in front of the man that had had a weird influence on her late childhood.
Her lips curved down into a slight frown as she stared at him. "Where have you been Ren? So much stuff has happened."

Now this threw Ren perfectly for a loop, and in half a second, a very confused look came onto his face. She was... the new Ice? After a moment, Ren seemed to nod a bit. "Ah you, kid," he finally answered back keeping his face flat now. It was odd... to hear a name and see a face he didn't recognize. He had always remembered Lupe as the child that followed Ice, and now seeing a clash in name and face, Ren found he didn't have much to say. Of course there was there was the question on what had happened to Ice, yet Ren, due to his own past experience, assumed that it was simply the inheritance and killing....There was no real reason to bring it up, and so Ren left it alone.
The man from before had come back from wherever he had disappeared and seemed to pale again as he noticed Ren talking to the other girl. "M-mr Saber...." the man stated aloud. "D-d-do you need a minute or two?" He finally finished. Ren stared at the other man and did not reply. However, the other man seemed to take this silence to mean yes and that he was to leave for that was exactly what happened.

Ice crossed her arms and stared at the man that came up, and quickly scurried away. Why the Hunters' Society hired such weak employees, she hadn't a clue, but it annoyed her every time she had to come in contact with the people that scurry around the above-ground floor. When he left, she looked back at the elder Section 12 member.
"Ice died during my first mission that she took me on. The Vampire Queen is the one that killed her," she said as she fought to keep a straight face. She frowned again; she never talked more then a sentence to any one person at once, and yet she kept on talking.

Ren stared at Ice for a moment mentally surprised but outwardly calm. "Ah..." he answered back reaching up and rubbing the back of his neck mildly. The tattoos that ran up his arm seemed to shift due to his arm shifting. The information was somewhat odd. He felt a sudden spark of rage, yet it died so quickly it was as if it had never been there. More nostalgia... Sojiro..... He had never avenged her when the vampire had attacked and nearly killed her. Vampires... "So you remain," he finished. "Is everyone else still the same, though?" It was both serious and light conversation at the same time, and Ren was fine with it.

"Everybody else remains the same. The only other people that were sacrificed were low ranking hunters. Lilith didn't die." The frown deepened as she thought about the day. Her eyes unfocused for a second before her mind came up with another question.
"Where'd you disappear to Ren? Could have used your help that day," Ice said. She started to head for the bank of elevators that were hiding behind a tall wall. She needed to check in so that she wouldn't be accused of not being there.

Ren was silent after the question was posed to him. After a moment, he simply breathed out and shook his head starting to walk with Ice. "Away," he answered back shrugging his shoulders. He wasn't ready to say anything else at this point. He already had a feeling he'd be interrogated by Solomon soon enough. "I wouldn't have come back if I wasn't tied, anyways," he commented aloud thinking about the seal that he tied him forever to the hunters. Suddenly a thought came to Ren, and he wondered how he had not thought of it before. "How is Sojiro and what of Sven?" he finally asked.

"Both are well, human, and still a part of Section 12. I could tell that Sojiro missed you whenever the meetings were called for. But, of course, I only noticed because I've become good at plucking apart a person's actions." But I still can't dissect you, Mr. Ren Saber, she thought as she pressed the lonesome button on the shiny metal plate.
Ice pulled her hair down as they waited for the elevator to arrive, and she let a sigh out. She hadn't been expecting to be the first to run into the missing Saber, and had been hoping to miss all of the drama that would follow his arrival. But things will happen the way that they want to happen, and maybe she was supposed to be a part of that drama. With a shrug to herself as the elevator doors dinged and whooshed open, she stepped into the nearly claustrophobic space.

Ren breathed outwards if a little quieter than before. They're still alive... and safe.... That was good. The blond haired man found himself staring rather darkly at the elevator as he waited. There were supposedly only three floors, but the elevator took forever none the less. There was no ounce of regret in Ren at that point, but there was something else in him that he could not outwardly explain. It was as though he were glad and irritated at the same time... as though something was awakening in him again which made him reproachful of coming back to it all. "Do you miss your Master?" he finally asked aloud just as the elevator binged and the doors opened.

Ice looked up at him before looking at the opposite wall. "A bit. I know that if Lilith hadn't killed her, I would have had to eventually, but it doesn't lessen the grief, does it?" she asked. Everyone that had been in attendance to the past year, they would have known her anger and her feel to need to revenge against Lilith. They also knew that it would most probably be the thing that would kill her. This didn't bother her at all, and she moved on in life while she waited for her chance.
Shivering with an odd cold rush, she crossed her arms and rubbed at her goose-bumped skin as she bit her lip. She missed being home, and wanted to get away from the headquarters as soon as possible. "Ren, are you here to stay?"

Ren stepped into the elevator and stared at the panel of numbers before finally hitting the bottom one and sighing. As the question of whether he was there to stay or not came about, the blond haired man was suddenly quiet and looked away as though not fully able to make up his mind on the idea. "Probably," he finally answered shrugging his shoulders lightly. "Not completely sure though...." He sighed and shook his head feeling the elevator descend slowly.

Sojiro stood in a small corner near the elevator. Her dark clothes never gave her away to anyone as she waited for him. She was not qutie sure how she knew he was there other than the fact that her scar began to hurt as it always did when something big was about to happen. Five years ago she would not have been able to stand still but after training with Sven, she had control over her bloodlust. She tried not to count the seconds but found it hard not to as she could feel the elevator decend towards her.
She took a moment to wonder how she was going to greet him; like an adult with a hand shake, a glomp hug like the child she almost was, or not even talk to him at all. She decided on one way with all of her conflicting emotions to greet him in the way he desirved; physical harm. She then climbed into the ceeling and held herself like a ninja with her legs and arms spread out holding her up. She waited there with a demonic smile on her face until at last she heard the elevator come to a halt. A resounding ding! declared that the doors where opening. A massive figure walked out with Ice and her heart almost stopped. She composed herself and called out in her cutesy voice "Oh Nii-san!!"
As the figure turned around in her direction, she launched herself off the wall, fliped in the air and planted the heel of her combat boot in the back of Ren's head pulling the figure towards the gorund. On her way down she hit him again with her other steel toed boot in the side of the face. She landed gracefully on her feet as she smaked him across the face. She then looked at him in the face and smiled guenly as tears streamed silently down her face. "Missed you", She wispered to him as she hugged him tightly around the waist.

Ren had walked out and turned his head recognizing the voice and already expecting the inevitable. He hadn't moved and instead felt the heel of the damn boot she was wearing before feeling the general pull towards the ground. He wouldn't have moved at all if he hadn't wanted to, but then again, Ren had been expecting this and figured the ending out already. Hell... here we go.... Two more blows that weren't too harmful yet served to spite him a bit none the less. However, at the end of it all, he let out a breath at being hugged.
"Damn, Soji... been a while...." he sighed hugging her back for a few seconds, yet it didn't last long After a moment, he forced himself up again and stretched out the muscles that had become tense due to the fight he had been expecting.

Ice laughed as she watched the brief attack and exchange. She had been expecting something much the same, but that didn't mean it readied her to stop herself from laughing. "I have to say, that was pretty win Sojiro. If I was younger, might have done something like that myself, and would have gotten a much different reaction," she joked. If any of the other reactions were anything close to this, she knew that she wouldn't be able to contain her laughs any better then.
