Personality!

[/b] Helping - Travis, loves helping people (obviously). He realized that he enjoyed helping when he was very little. He would go around and help various wounded or injured animals that he would find in the woods near his home in Niger, Africa. As he grew older, he moved from animals to people, volunteering at shelters and crisis areas.

++ Eating - Travis almost went to America for culinary school. He finds himself deeply interested in trying and cooking new foods. His favorite past time is to cook different cultural appatizers for his friends and family to try. From the time he was little his mother would encourage his cooking habits, warning him that his future wife may not be a chef like him.

++ Being a Protettore - Both of Travis' parents were Protettores, so he grew up in the "family business". It was always second nature for him to have this as his profession because of his constant need to help people/animals.

++ Music - Travis was always the artistic type. He learned how to play the Ukulele when he was 5 years old. He got his first full sized guitar when he was 9 and he learned how to play that instrument as well. He began writing music and learning other instruments from that moment on. He constantly writes new music and tries to join bands whenever he can.[/ul]

[/b] Pessimists - Travis, being an optimist, cannot stand when people around him are constantly negative. He tries to be the bright light to everyone. His father was always a pessimist when Travis was little (and a drinker), so, he naturally veered away from that path and created a new one for himself.

-- Dirty places - A clean home is a happy home; or so Travis always thought. Since he was mainly raised by his mother (and being a momma's boy) she taught him how to really clean things and to appreciate a clean house. That being said, he is very irked by dirty/unorganized places.

-- Ignorance - Ignorance is bliss? Hell no, well, at least not to Travis. He was always well educated and feels that everyone else should be too. He scoffs at people who use big words out of context and constantly informs individuals of the proper way to use them. He is also irked when people try to talk about things that they really don't know about. (for example; someone who talks about Alaska being warm in the summer).

-- Show offs - For most of his time in school, Travis was given a rough time. He was bullied. Called a momma's boy, shoved around, and for anything that he accomplished someone would intentionally show him up, put him down, and tell him that he was not good enough.

Travis is a great, positive guy. He is generally pretty shy when being approached at first, but he warms up over time. He isn't the typical social butterfly, but he gets around. With his need to help anyone and everyone, he is the go-to guy to most who know him. He is a sap at times. Travis can't help but to seem childish at times. He is generally a calm person, but he gets angry easily which will one day land him in the wrong place at the wrong time (and quite possibly be the death of him).

Living with his mom and picking up on her habits, Travis is more in touch with his feminine side. He tends to be more flowery than mechanic in his everyday life. But when it comes to being a Protettore, he is one of the best out there. He takes his job very seriously and does everything he can in his power to get the job done and get it done right. He is a very fit person for a human training to be a real protettore. He constantly tries to tear his body down to build it up. Despite his already large build (6'4 and 210 pounds), he tries to make himself bigger by building on his muscles, expanding their mass.

Travis was never really great with the girls, despite his sentimental, sappy side. The fact that he was such a momma's boy would've been something to make him seem like the perfect lady's man. He keeps to himself on his days "off" from the job/training. When he doesn't have to be social, Travis allows his inner shy-self out. He finds himself sitting alone (often in some woods somewhere) listening to music, reading, or running.

:: HISTORY:

Travis could remember growing up in a torn family. Both of his parents worked as full time Protettores and his mom as a part time waitress on the side. He lived in Africa most of his life, learning the language and the life of the locals. When Travis turned 10, his father left the family for a job in America. He never specified what the job was or who he was working for. After he left, Julia had Andy. Andy was a precious little girl, but Julia couldn't take care of her and work at the same time, so she had to give her to close friends to take care of. Julia managed the household until Eathan became old enough to provide for the family.

Eathan was 6 years older than Travis. By the time Eathan turned 22, Travis was just turning 16. Eathan decided not to grow up in the lifestyle of his parents. He fled from the family and became a hunter, everything that their parents fought against. Travis had never felt such betrayal. He became the sole provider for the family, because soon after his brother left, Julia fell ill with a deadly virus. Unable to prolong her life any longer, Travis had to make the decision to put his mother out of her misery. Travis was left alone, at 18. He refrained from communication with his brother and he never heard from his sister since she was given away.

Travis, well known with the creatures and protettores in Niger, Africa, decided to travel to somewhere new. He wanted to find his father and begin a new chapter of his life fighting by his father's side for the right thing; protecting those who needed protection. Once in America, Travis was working a job in Connecticut, helping a Vampire hide and relocate from hunters, only to find out that the hunter tracking the Vampire was his father.

Travis' mind was blown by the fact that his father had left the Protettore lifestyle to create one he was always against before. His father threatened to kill Travis if he got in his way. Having a helping heart, He couldn't just let the Vampire fall in his father's or the hunter's hands. Travis stuck out his neck and helped the Vampire escape and then ran for his own life from his father.

During his run from the hunters, Travis ran into another Protettore, Bobby Evans. Bobby quickly brought Travis to the camp where he was staying and informed Travis of a training facility that he worked at. Accepting the offer eagerly, Travis began as Bobby's trainee at a Protettore camp in Bristol, Connecticut. There, he finishes his one year left training to be a top Protettore as he travels with Bobby (and sometimes solo) to complete jobs around the world.
