Carly's words drew a softer smile from Collin once more. She always did seem to have the unnatural ability to soften his heart even in the most terrible of circumstances. This of course was not one of them -far from it, in fact-, but it was enough to remind him of it at the very least. As long as she was by his side, it didn't matter where they went. Circulating it through his mind several times over, Collin couldn't help the smile turning into a grin. If he had still been human- and somehow still been alive considering how old he was- he would have blushed perhaps.
The question caught him off guard for a moment, and he looked sideways towards where the boat was still resting now haphazardly ashore. A soft laugh escaped from him as he recognized yet again that he had taken the more complicated route when there was a definitive way of getting back. It would require more arm muscle to go back up the river, but Collin was a creature of strength when it came down to it. His lean arms were more toned and powerful than most body builders if not all of them. He could honestly only imagine what he would be like had he worked out more rigorously before changing. Before he had a chance to think on this further, it seemed Carly had gone on. It took him but a moment to realize what she was saying, but had he been human, he might have blushed yet again. Had she been human, Collin would have told her the river were too cold- especially with the season being as finky as it was. However, it would not freeze her as humans would- nor him for that matter, and Collin knew it.
A smirk finally came to his features as Collin turned sideways suddenly catching Carly by the side and looking into her eyes steadily. "You always did make better plans than me," he mused softly closing the gap between them. "I'll follow you wherever you go," he finished off still not breaking eye contact with her at all as he did his best to show he was more than just serious about his own words. He would indeed follow just like that. "Care to lead the way?" he whispered softly in a moment of encouragement.

The smile on Collin's features was enough to set Carly's mind at ease. She had meant what she'd said after all, as long as she was with him, Carly didn't much care where they went. Collin had said earlier in the evening that the sun should follow her for light; as sweet as that was, it wasn't true, or at least not in Carly's eyes. No, Collin was her sun, someone who could make even the darkest night fade away. He was her strength, someone Carly knew she could always count on. Why had she been afraid in the first place...there wasn't anything to be afraid of, not when Collin was with her.
The laugh that followed her question brought a smirk to Carly's features. Perhaps Collin had momentarily forgotten about the vessel they had arrived in, either way it didn't matter how they returned home. Should Collin wish it, Carly would walk the distance back to the town that he had mentioned, as long as she was with him nothing else mattered. Carly just barely caught the smirk on his features when he suddenly caught her by her side and pulled her close to him. Red eyes grew slightly as Collin drew her closer still, a soft smile appearing on her features at his words.
Carly's smile grew as Collin finished speaking before closing the distance between them with a kiss, deepening it only slightly before breaking it. "I love you..."Carly whispered before kissing him again, more briefly this time,"Mmm, how about we get up and I can get changed hmm?"she continued before kissing him yet again. Pulling away from him slightly, Carly smirked and looked back at Collin, eyes twinkling mischievously,"Unless you'd prefer we swam now before I change,"she said quietly, only half-teasing him in that moment.

The kiss was soft but sweet, and a testament to it played on Collin's smile thereafter. Those three simple words as short and simple as they were in nature were sweeter than any sweet he had eaten. Slowly his expression relaxed thereafter. "I love you more," he mused back softly, an ease and a tease. Her words caused him to nod briefly only to freeze at what she was saying. A red eye flickered to her and stared for a moment, an amused by dry expression playing onto his face. She was still his junior and his fledgling, and the fact that she looked -and would forever look- much like a child- even if he did too, didn't help his case in the area she was hinting at. However, he knew well enough she disliked being told she looked too young- especially for him who arguably looked only a few years older, and even though appearances claimed otherwise, she was humanly considered older than him- having been frozen in time at the age of twenty-one wherein he had only been seventeen or so. She was a woman in her own right just as much as he was a man in his.
He moved to stand up tall before leaning forwards and kissing her rather deeply, taking a step forwards to possibly make her step back. His hands went to hers easily lacing the two together- a soft hum escaping through his lips as they danced over hers. He held the kiss there deepening it easily parting her lips with his tongue and deepening further still. A hand released its interweaving binds between another and easily set it on Carly's back arching her a bit as he continued to kiss her. He held the stance for a while continuing to deep the kiss before finally breaking it- finding a smirk on his features. If he were human, he might have been panting, yet his new bloodlines restricted the need for air. "Either way..." he mused back quietly.

As Collin said those four simple words, Carly couldn't help but smile all the more. It had been a long standing tease on Collin's part and she knew all too well that any further argument would be in vain. As she continued to speak, Carly couldn't help but smirk at Collin's expression at her suggestion, the teasing, mischievous expression never once fading. It seemed she had managed to catch him off guard though he appeared to recover quickly at least. When he continued to stare at her, Carly simply waited for an answer or at least some acknowledgement that she had been heard.
It was certainly a good thing that Collin didn't voice his thoughts in that moment. As self-conscious as Carly was, she would have no doubt lashed out at him for calling her a child, fiance or no. She couldn't help the way she looked after all and didn't like to be reminded that she would forever look like a child. Even though in human terms, she was considered an adult, that didn't stop the judgmental glances that came her way every time she stepped into a bar or something similar. Really, Carly was almost glad that she had been frozen in time at age 21, it stopped some of the more judgmental glances whenever she showed her ID.
Moments passed and still Collin hadn't answered her question one way or the other. Even as he stood, he still made no further comment about her proposal... No sooner had Carly stood however that Collin leaned forward, almost surprising her with how deeply he had kissed her, was still kissing her. He stepped forwards then, making her step back in the process even as he took her hands, intertwining his fingers with her own. Collin's soft hum elicited a soft hum from her in turn as he deepened the kiss further. Carly returned the kiss with equal fervor even as she felt him release her hand and set it on her back, leaning her backwards ever so slightly. Eyes closed as Collin continued to kiss her, deepening it even further before he finally broke it. For a moment, Carly remained speechless as she stared into Collin's eyes even as he finally responded to her question. Carly smirked in turn at his response and wrapped her free arm around his neck before kissing him again briefly, "Your choice~," came the whispered reply, "You've spoiled me enough...it's my turn~,"she continued, smiling gently as she did so.

Fake heterochromatic eyes stared down at crisp red ones catching the glint of reflection that those eyes contained. Both were of the undead. Both were creatures of the night neither dead nor fully alive. Both's hearts had long since stopped beating, yet there was fervor in those eyes- an aliveness and a crispness that reminded Collin Xerxes Walker that they were not entirely dead. Considering oneself alive was something he condemned harshly over the years in truth. In his hundred plus years, he had spent the bulk of it reminded himself of all the things that he was not- one of them being fully alive. In a twist of fate he had congealed the idea that he was substandard- subpar in comparison with the humanity he walked beside. They belonged to a realm of cycle. He was a fragment of the past forced to travel forwards with a lack of anything else to do except exist. It had been something he skeptically clung to in a ditch effort to keep himself under control. It was the reminder that he utterly refused to deny anyone the right to their humanity that drove him so avidly to lock away the venom of his fangs. It was this pride and desire that had kept him from making a fledgling up until Carly.
In one form or another, she had changed that part of him, though. She had taken the broken pieces of his mind and sewn them anew giving a meaning that he had once been denying to the lives they lived. They were alive- even amongst the undead, they were alive and existing within the flow of time. True they could not eat the living's food, and true there were restrictions as well as gains from being immortal. However, they were on the same plane now in Collin's mind. Of all the things Carly could have given Collin, it was the reassurance that there was something more to this vampire existence with which to cling to. This drove him forwards. This drove him towards her despite the trials of their past and the stress of the bonds they had made for themselves. It was what kept him going and continuing forwards walking alongside her into what could only be assumed to be infinity.
Infinity was still a long time, though. Days became weeks became months became years became decades became centuries in the blink of an eye, yet infinity was longer than that. It held those it entranced with the mesmerizing expanse of it in a void of nothing and everything all in one. In truth, the vastness of it intimidated Collin, yet the prospect of living years and years had ceased to bother him. One day was taken at a time, and one moment was spent how he wanted it. Though he often scolded Carly for living in 'human terms', ironically it was one of the few things Collin himself did in different ways in order to keep himself sane. Yes, it was a estranged mixture of good and bad that he had yet to finish working out and would probably spend still more years working it out if left to himself. That revelation was for a different time, though. This was here and now. This was something- no she was something before him more important than anything. He would pay her attention. A soft smile reflected in those red eyes thereafter, and Collin leaned forwards kissing between them briefly as Carly whispered her reply. It was his decision was it? Fine then, he supposed. He would make a decision, heh.
His hand slid up her back slowly but surely meeting the space between her shoulder blades with ease. He dipped her further kissing downwards now as he himself leaned forwards. The kiss was held only for a short time again before Collin broke and smiled a little. A smirk played onto his features as he kissed her cheek and moved his lips towards her right ear, his voice barely audible even to her vampire ears. "To hell with clothes..." was the less than formal reply, and all too quickly, Collin's other hand set itself easily on Carly's hip running a few fingers down the side of her waist before meeting her pants button and easily snapping it off. To the normally reserved man, it was strange to be so straightforwards. He had come from an age wherein such mannerisms were generally frowned upon if not completely refuted in basic etiquette. However, it seemed Carly had had other influences as well upon Collin, one of them being this more spontaneous suit that he happened to be cloaking himself in that moment.

As foolish as it might sound, Carly still perceived herself as being 'alive'. Collin had pointed out countless times that they were part of the undead now but she didn't like to think of it like that. True, she was no longer human, that was obvious, but all her transformation had done was give her a different life. If Carly stopped to think to much about what she had become, she would have quickly spiraled into a depression brought on by her own self-loathing. Here she had sworn not to kill and yet Carly was forced to do just that in order to survive. No doubt if Collin hadn't taken her under his wing she would have already gone rabid with uncontrolled blood lust or found a way to kill herself. Collin was her rock in every way and though at first they had gotten off to a rocky start, Carly honestly couldn't imagine her life without him. The very idea that she was going to spend forever with Collin was unfathomable and yet exciting at the same time...they would have literally all the time in the world and nothing could possibly get in their way.
Silence stretched between them once more after Carly had whispered her reply after Collin had kissed between her eyes. A soft smile was evident on her features as she stared into his dual colored eyes and waited for some form of reply. They had eternity together...she could wait a few more moments for the answer to her own question. Even if he chose to say no, Carly wouldn't mind...for once, she was willing to be patient and wasn't thinking in 'human terms' as Collin so often chastised her for doing. It seemed Carly would have to wait longer for her answer however as he slid his hand further up her back and dipped her further. The kiss that followed soon after that was returned easily though it was considerably shorter than the prior kisses. Seeing his smirk brought a smile to Carly's features once more which only grew as he kissed her her cheek and leaned forwards to whisper in her ear. The words that followed would have surely brought a blush to Carly's features if such a thing was possible in the undead life she was living. It had been admittedly a little difficult to hear what he had said, even with her enhanced hearing but the words were unmistakable along with the meaning behind them.
With how long Carly had known Collin, she didn't think that he could possibly surprise her any more. Once again he had proven her wrong however as she felt his hand slide down to her hip and unfastening the button holding her jeans in place. As conservative as Collin usually was, this was unexpected to say the least but Carly certainly wasn't going to complain. He had made his choice and though it had not been the reaction she had come to expect from him, for once Carly was glad she had been proven wrong once again. Smiling once more into Collin's eyes, Carly slid her own hands down from where they had been placed around his neck and began to slowly undo the tie around his neck, letting it fall to the ground thereafter before moving to slowly unfasten his shirt buttons. Her motions weren't rushed by any means, no, they had all the time in the world and Carly was going to relish this moment.

He knew very well that her words had been meant as a tease of sorts, but Collin wasn't in the mood to be teased. If she wanted to go swimming like that- then they would, heh. That was all there was to it. Though it could pose problems especially if someone happened to see, he didn't care right then and there. They were roughly secluded there, and he doubted anyone would see. No one had better see or he'd have to gouge some eyes out. Heh, he could think that all he wanted, but Collin wasn't naturally violent. In the end an action like that would make him cringe more than anything. True he was a vampire- a hunter of the night who prayed upon humans, he was not a teenager looking for a fight any longer. Deep down inside that immature body of his was nothing short of an adult- someone who understood the consequences of his actions better than most did.
Collin didn't move to help Carly with the buttons of his own shirt though his hands dropped back easily shrugging off his jacket in one smooth motion before returning to her already making to slide her shirt up with ease. Stopping halfway up only to lean down rather quickly, Collin landed a swift kiss to her belly- his own teasing motions now in an effort to make her squeal or squirm. He knew very well she was ticklish, and it amused him to nod end to cause hr to squeak and squirm there Kissing a bit higher up briefly, he stopped returning to his stance to make to pull her shirt completely off. He would take his time- but would have fun doing it in that way, heh.

In all honesty, being seen by anyone was the last thing on Carly's mind. The sun had set by this time and the first stars had come out to play by the light of the moon. It was doubtful at best that anyone would be able to see them even if they were specifically looking for them. Not only that but they were in a secluded area and it was doubtful at best whether or not anyone would even know where they were to begin with. The gondola would certainly be an indication that someone was nearby but where specifically would be more difficult to determine. Right now however, Carly wasn't worried about such things especially when they hardly seemed plausible. No, Collin was the only person that mattered to her right now, not some nameless human who might be watching them.
Carly continued to slowly unbutton Collin's shirt, only pausing her movements briefly as he slid his jacket off. She had just finished the last button when he started to pull up her own shirt only to stop partially to kiss her stomach. Considering the way he was holding her, Carly really had no way of avoiding it and thus couldn't stop the small squeak and giggle that followed the kiss. Of course he would take the opportunity to tickle her in such a manner, Collin knew that she was very ticklish and never grew tired of finding ways to remind her that he knew it. Squirming a little as he kissed her again, Carly was about to object to anymore tickling when he mercifully stopped before sliding her top the rest of the way off. Not giving him a chance to tickle her again, Carly wrapped an arm around his neck once again and kissed him even as she tried to slide off his own shirt.

It would be a strange game between the two for a short bit. Clothes were shed, but before everything was gone, Collin had leaned forwards, nipped Carly's lip briefly, and gone running for the water. All too easily rushing into the water and swimming for it, Collin had made a quick tag game of sorts. This continued for a while with neither really tiring- a consequence of being vampires one could suppose. However, at some point, Collin relaxed and simply went drifting through the water. The feel of cool on his skin was indeed nice, but now that the immediate fun was over, he was once more feeling a tad self-conscious. Though it was pitch black out to those that didn't have the keen senses of the supernatural, Collin was aware of the fact that they weren't the only supernatural creatures in the area. As reason came back to him once more, he sighed softly sitting up fully in the water easily treading against it and looking off towards Carly.
"Ready to go back?" the blue haired vampire asked chuckling a little and splashing Carly briefly to make sure that she was listening to him. Before she could reply, he'd already started swimming back to the bank again with easy motions. Upon coming back again, he stretched briefly reaching back to run his fingers through his hair haphazardly squishing the water out of the fibers. If it was one thing he was somewhat grateful for, hair dye which he had used here and there to change his appearance that otherwise remained unchanged, didn't have a direct effect on his vampirism. His body may have been particular about its length and at least part of his style, but it didn't grow instantly in retaliation to hair dye and show roots and the like. That being said, the dye itself stayed in consistently longer than humans would as well. It was a win win he supposed.
Reaching down on the bank, he snagged up his pants and underwear easily sliding both on despite his wet form causing splotches to appear. Looking around, he snagged up his dress shirt easily starting to button it back up again before sliding on his jacket and setting his tie on his shoulder. It was only as water clung to him that he had wished that he had thought to bring towels.

The 'game' that ensued thereafter was strange to say the least, but Carly enjoyed every minute of it. She had just been about to shed the last of her garments when Collin nipped her lip and suddenly took off, enlisting a laugh from Carly as she joined him shortly afterwards. As unexpected as the rather spontaneous game of tag was, Carly was quick to accept the challenge as she saw it. If there was one thing the vampiress enjoyed, it was a challenge; a puzzle that she had to work at to beat. This situation was hardly any different even if the 'work' was more of a game then anything in that moment. Carly was not one to accept defeat so easily and thus the game of tag commenced. How long the game went on Carly wasn't entirely sure but after a while it seemed Collin had finished playing for the time being.
Instead of relaxing in the water as her fiance had however, Carly opted to dive underwater and swim around for a time. The view under the water was indeed nice with the various fish and other flora in the area, waving with the current. Even as dark as it was the moon shone bright enough for there to be enough light for Carly to see if she needed such a thing anyway. With the enhanced vision becoming a vampire had brought it was easy to see in dark, regardless if the moon was out that night. Surfacing once again just in time to get splash, Carly smirked and returned the favor before nodding in reply before swimming back towards shore. As Collin climbed out of the water before her, Carly couldn't help but stare at her fiance's physique before climbing out of the water herself.
It wasn't until she was back on dry land that she realized (mostly from watching Collin squeeze the water from his hair) how drenched her own hair was. Ugh...it would take ages to dry out....this was why she both loved and despised her long locks. Yes, they were pretty but she could never simply cut her hair without it growing out once again back to it's original length. Sure there may be a few weeks at best where she would have short hair but there was no escaping the length she had when she had first become a vampiress. Doing her best to squeeze the water out of her own hair, Carly slowly began to put on her own clothing, not really caring if Collin looked or not. Really it was meant as more of a tease than anything but then he'd already seen her so what did it matter now. Having succeeded in replacing her undergarments at least, Carly looked around for her other clothes, smirking at how their game of sorts had scattered them thusly.
Finding her jeans after a short time, Carly pulled them on without much effort despite how difficult it should have been to put them on over still wet legs. Besides, it wasn't like she needed to look presentable immediately...though her jeans were now admittedly more restricting than they had been earlier. Probably because damp jeans were known to be heavier, not that such minor details mattered to the vampiress right then and there. That still left her blouse and jacket unaccounted for however and though said jacket was easy to find, the blouse remained elusive. Really now...it wasn't as if a piece of clothing could just walk off...well, if worst came to worse she could always just wear the jacket but...that was her favorite blouse... Sigh perhaps Collin would have a better time finding the elusive red garment...unless he happened to be holding it hostage after all.
Looking over at her fiance, Carly smiled sheepishly, jacket still in hand,"I can't seem to find my blouse..."she admitted, after having searched the area with no luck whatsoever,"Do you think it could have fallen in the water..?"she asked after a moment. With the shirt in question no longer in sight it certainly seemed like it could be plausible. But...they hadn't been all that close to the water during their game of sorts...had they... Whatever the case, Carly certainly couldn't find it.

A red eye did glance sideways as Carly put her clothes back on, and a smirk came and went from pale lips before Collin looked forwards again and shifted his jacket about trying to keep it from clinging to him even as he set it on his form again. Rolling his shoulders briefly, he fought the urge to stretch least the clothes that weren't meant to deal with the wide range of motions that a vampire could preform tore in the process. That would be more than a little embarrassing. Instead, he settled for popping the muscles in his neck by a simple head tilt form one side to the other.
As he felt eyes upon himself, Collin blinked and looked sideways just in time to catch Carly's smile and... lack of shirt. The question that followed drew red and blue eyes off to the water staring off into its murky depths but seeing through it with the precision only a vampire could see. "I don't see it.." he replied turning slowly around in a circle glancing at the various things in the area. What would have stood out due to its vibrant red color was simply not there it seemed, and for a moment, the vampire folded his arms in front of himself and looked puzzled. Just then, the sight of a squirrel with something red in its mouth caught Collin's eyes. It froze in place at the base of a tree not too far off as though aware that it was being stared at and hoping and praying that whatever was staring at it would overlook it and move onwards. This was not the case, however, for Collin had already grasped it in his sights and wasn't going to let it go without a fight. For but a second there was a second of silence.
All too quickly the normally less than impulsive vampire went lunging at the small creature who screeched at finding a beast of prey after it and scaled up the tree trailing a long garment in the process. Flashing forwards up the tree, Collin made after it. Fingers tightened around a tail and a yank was given, and in a split second, the squirrel was dragged off the tree and held up side down flailing its arms with the garment still in his mouth. A curl of Collin's lips revealed the sharp fangs within. "Carly I think someone liked your blouse," Collin chuckled raising his other hand to yank it away from the squirrel's mouth. The furry rat as Collin thought of it flailed sideways and curled upwards before sinking its teeth into Collin's hand. The vampire didn't flinch in the least. Instead, rather than release the small pest, Collin's fingers tightened around it causing the squirrel to squeak out in pain. "What do you want to do with this?" he asked holding the squirrel forwards and smirking.

The glance in her direction as Carly dressed wasn't missed in the slightest. In fact, the vampiress had almost expected it and smirked in turn when she saw Collin looking in her direction before finishing getting dressed...if it wasn't for the missing shirt that is. Whatever the case, it didn't appear that Collin had the blouse which only made her wonder where it could have possibly gone to. It wasn't like a shirt could just get up and walk away after all... After questioning her fiance about the shirt's location, Carly started looking around once more after Collin had said he didn't see it in the water. Ugh...really now, why did she have to lose her favorite blouse...it was hard enough to find something in her size that didn't make her look like a grade-schooler. Sigh...she'd just have to wear her jacket on the way back then.
Carly was about to slide on the jacket in question, wishing now that she had thought to bring her full length jacket instead of the new half jean jacket she had recently bought. It had looked cute with the shirt though and she hadn't really been expecting for it to go missing. Oh well, at least she didn't have to worry about getting cold...that was one of the good things about being part of the undead she supposed. Hopefully nobody would stare and wonder why her mid-drift was showing when she had previously worn a blouse underneath. The answer was admittedly a little embarrassing but Carly certainly didn't regret it...she just hadn't expected her blouse to go missing was all that happened.
Suddenly Collin took off after...was that a squirrel... For a moment all Carly could do was stare as her fiance chased after the creature and caught the offender quickly. It wasn't until he had caught the poor creature that Carly realized why he had chased after the rodent in the first place. Laughing softly, Carly smirked at Collin's comment and took her shirt after he had reclaimed it from the squirrel. "That just means it has good taste,"Carly quipped before sliding the blouse back on and putting her jacket over it. Really she was glad that she didn't have to worry about any questions now that the blouse had been found but now the question remained what to do with the little thief. After a moment, Carly shrugged, smirking in turn at Collin's question,"It's hardly even a snack...do with it what you will. Its only crime is having good taste in clothes,"she replied, laughing softly even as she watched the squirrel squirm and squeak in protest at the way it was being handled.

As Carly took her shirt back, Collin looked at the squirrel again a smirk coming to his features. A half laugh escaped from him as she noted that it just had good taste in clothes. Quite literally he mentally replied briefly biting the inside of his mouth. He personally didn't like the taste of clothing but he supposed some animals did. Of course he knew Carly meant fashion sense and the like, but it was a rather humorous image of a squirrel literally eating the blouse because it tasted good. What exactly it had been going to use it for anyways was questionable at best anyways.
The response that it was hardly a snack drew a snicker from Collin. Animal blood wasn't the most savory in the world, and the squirrel probably didn't even come close to a meal. "True," he replied back leaning his face forwards and staring more intently at the squirrel. The small beast froze once again as the dual colored eyes were upon it as if in some ditch effort to appear that he hadn't just bit Collin's hand and had been struggling avidly to get free. An absurd thought came to Collin right then and there, and briefly his lips moved only to stop. He wanted to screech at it, to scream and hiss at it to the point that the small rodent fainted in his hands. He wanted to scare the living daylights out of it in retribution for taking Carly's clothing and because it would be hilarious to do so, at least to Collin anyways. Maybe his sense of humor had been skewed over the years. That was probably at least half if not completely true, but what was there to say about it anyways?
Carly's comment that followed only encouraged Collin's thoughts. However, after a moment, he decided not to, least they have a legion of squirrels on their door step at some point demanding retribution for a heart attack victim. Instead, he settled on smiling at the squirrel revealing his fangs and allowing a soft hiss to escape. The small rodent squirmed and flailed briefly before Collin's hand released and it went dropping to the ground. Managing to land on its feet, the squirrel quickly barreled into the bushes and out of sight thereafter. Collin chuckled to himself more amused than he should have been. "Guess scaring the daylights out of it is any good retribution," he half laughed looking sideways at Carly.

Collin's laugh brought a smirk to Carly's features as she watched the helpless squirrel flail about. It was a vain attempt at trying to escape but then the squirrel was no doubt desperate by this time. One look in the rodent's eyes and it was clear that the creature was terrified of the situation it found itself in. Still, that didn't change the fact that the squirrel was a thief, nor that Collin seemed bent on making it pay for some unfathomable reason. Had the squirrel not stolen her shirt, Carly would've felt sorry for the little guy but as it stood, she was a little too amused with her fiance's actions to care.
Had Carly known about Collin's train of thought concerning the rodent's 'taste' in clothing she would have laughed. It was certainly an amusing picture to say the least, even more so when one imagined the tiny thing wearing the blouse in question. The idea of a squirrel fashion show was admittedly hilarious and Carly couldn't help but laugh at the thought that had crossed her mind. As Collin asked what to do the rodent, Carly shrugged and gave her reply, smirking at the snicker her comment had elicited from Collin. Carly hadn't tried animal blood and thus didn't know what it tasted like but judging by smell alone it was pretty disgusting. Aside from that the squirrel would hardly give a mouthful and it would be a waste considering the scent alone was enough to make her think twice about biting the creature.
As Collin turned his attention back to the squirrel, Carly couldn't help the smirk that played on her features at the stark fear she saw coming from the squirrel. The poor thing's heart was going a mile a minute and it seemed that any further fright would literally scare the living daylights out of it. Had Collin followed through on his initial thought, Carly would have been surprised no doubt but it would have been funny in it's own way. Mostly because this was a side of Collin that Carly had rarely seen before, if ever and it amused her greatly. Watching as her fiance bared her fangs and hissed, Carly couldn't help the small laugh that escaped her as the squirrel barreled into the bushes thereafter.
As Collin chuckled, more or less explaining his actions, Carly couldn't help but laugh. "What has gotten into you?"Carly laughed, shaking her head in disbelief, "I've never seen you like this before,"she continued even as she wrapped her arms around him, the smile never once fading from her features. "I like it~,"she mused before kissing him, deepening it briefly before breaking it and smiling up at him. "Mmm, I'm afraid I'm out of ideas now...shall we head back?"Carly mused as she looked into her fiance's eyes, still hardly believing that she was going to spend eternity with this man.
OOC://ohlawl Just a Kiss came on when I was writing this XXD and right when she kissed him no less.

The question of what had gotten into him drew a brief thoughtful expression to the vampire's features. What had gotten into him? She'd said yes. He'd been sure she would agree to marry him, and he could have taken bets even. However, that didn't deter the feelings that were stirring in him, a bit of recklessness and emotional impulse that would otherwise have been surprised in his personality. It was Carly that brought about a meld in his person, forever caught between a child and an adult in those awkward teen years and sometimes unable to balance the two. She with her dynamic disposition gave him stability even in her own recklessness. He could easily become the counterpart that was desired at any moment due to his own instability, and she accommodated for that with her personality. Overall, it gave him something that he didn't have otherwise. And she'd said yes.
As she stepped forwards wrapping her arms around him, he did much the same drawing her into a comfortable hug. He was about to reply to her question when she simply replied to her own statement and kissed him. Blinking surprised, he let it go not bothering to give an explanation instead melding into the kiss. As the kiss was broken and Carly spoke, Collin smirked. "Let's snag the things and set 'em in the gondola then, Mrs. Walker" he replied slowly releasing her and stepping back for but a moment to look at her smiling once more before turning to the table and holding up her swim suit with a smirk briefly before holding it forwards. He could easily call someone to clean up the rest at a later time, and in thieves were desperate enough for already open boxes, then they could have them as he saw it.
