A small smile came to Leonardo's features as Cherette stated that games were always fun. Her shift in accent was not missed and rather amusing, really, though he had to question if it was forced or just a simple transition. A soft laugh escaped from him after a moment as he reflected on his own proposition. Yes, they were ways in which to stir on conversation and ways to learn more information. Though some would have found them childish, Leonardo did not especially in this context. Thinking over what games would lead to more information still, Leonardo came up with one that Michelangelo had progressively beat him with several times over as children. For a brief moment, he could only mentally sigh at that thought knowing that the quieter of the two of them was sometimes the wittier on such subjects whether Leonardo wanted to admit it or not. He supposed that was why Michelangelo could get away with some things their father wouldn’t let him get away with. He had a faster mouth when he needed it and had a level of control that was more natural and less forced. He could debate without fear and kept a natural air in all situations. In reality, to some degree, Leonardo envied this in his brother’s demeanor It made an inequality between the boys that Leon had never quite been comfortable with.
Setting that aside before it got out of hand, Leonardo shifted through a few other possible games before finally chuckling at such a simple game that had come to him. "If we were not in a car, I would suggest Truth or Dare," he mused out playfully a small smile wrapping itself on his features. There was only so much that one could dare when within a moving car of all things, and though it would be interesting to see what Cherette’s mind came up with, Leonardo wasn’t sure that he would be able to come up with much that wouldn’t become too personal too quickly. After all, he’d already kissed her, heh. "Hmmm ah, I know," Leonardo grinned after a moment his features and expression becoming light again. "I shall think of a person, place, or thing and give you three standard adjectives of that person, place, or thing. Then by the description, you shall guess what it is. If you guess wrong, I shall give you another adjective, and you guess once more. If after three times you guess incorrectly, I win a point and vice versa," he laughed briefly at his own words. "Does that sound appealing?" he mused.
As she inquired where they were going and proceeded to reference his family, Leonardo smiled a questionable smile, as though he were intending to hide it from her. “It is quite lovely to have such exquisite things at your fingertips, I suppose,” he replied referring to her statement rather than her question. After a moment, a small chuckle came to him. “Though you shall have to wait to see which restaurant has been chosen, my dear,” he mused out playfully. “Shall we proceed to the game then?”

Cherette nodded, resting her chin in her hand as Leon mentioned Truth or Dare. She smirked for a moment as she reflected on all the times she had played that game in college. She had always been the "good" girl, for the first few years at least. Every time it came to her turn she would always go for truth. She knew she was the boring one at the parties. A part of her stomach clenched as she thought about the moment she decided to change her ways. Her closet was remodeled as was her lifestyle. She spent almost every night dancing at the club as a job or out partying. She had made up her mind she would be the "dare" type of woman.
She was snapped back to reality when her companion explained the game they would be playing, followed by a brief chuckle. She smiled at him, resting her hand back down on her lap before shrugging and agreeing to the game. She watched the buildings fly by out the tinted windows as she listened to Leon talk. The corner of her mouth dropped a little before she pushed the frown away as he told he she would have to wait and see. Accept the surprise. "Well, let's start this game before we run out of time, shall we?" She grinned at the man across from her as she crossed her legs, leaning back, getting comfortable. "You first, Le. Seems fair as you know more about the game."

Long before Leonardo had assured that the surprise of the restaurant would remain a surprise. There was some existential charm, he had found, in keeping a secret even if it was simply a minimalist thing such as where they were going to eat. Besides, he wanted to see the look in her eyes upon seeing the high end restaurant of his choosing- as it was he enjoyed her reactions to his 'surprises', it seemed.
As she accepted the game, he chuckled briefly thinking over what noun he wanted to use. "Alright- a thing of relaxation," he began slowly eyeing her reaction before proceeding. "And something common place in a stressful world as a result. It comes in many colors." He finished adding the hint of 'it' to mean that it was an object. "What is it?" he smiled briefly setting his chin upon the tips of his fingers. What he was thinking of was standard enough: a reclining chair, the one that had briefly come to mind being his TMNT green one back at his apartment at home. Briefly the memory of Gwendolyn running and jumping into it came to mind, and for a brief moment the eldest brother allowed a better smile to come to his features- a more intimate look without the innuendo.
There had been many good memories that surrounded that chair, if Leonardo wanted to be honest with himself. It had started as a gift and evolved into something priceless- even if Nadia didn't quite like it due to its natural habit of color clashing with just about everything. He kept it with him even after moving out of the main house doing what he could to ensure that there was no damage to it in the process. Leon supposed in a way he was being somewhat ridiculously sentimental, but oh well.

Cherette smirked as she folded her arms across her chest and listened to her companion as he began the game. A thing.. an object.. a relaxing thing.. mmm a day spa.. Her eyes closed for a moment as a small pleasurable moan escaped her lips as she thought of the last time she went to a day spa. It had been merely a few months ago in Paris. She wasn't a huge fan of the French, but their spa treatments were exquisite. Hot stones, the smell of lavender encasing her senses and body, a full body massage. Cher's muscles twitched in her back as she reflected on the memory. I've gotta stop there on my way home. La Bulle de Sevres I believe.
She glanced back up to Leon's face as she found her eyes had traveled to the windows again. "I apologize. I was... reflecting." Cherette cleared her throat with a melodic hum before a serious look overthrew her face. "Okay, so it's an object associated strongly with relaxation and available in multiple colors... hmm.." She rummaged through her brain as she searched for the correct answer. She couldn't escape the memory of the French day spa in the back of her mind. "Is it a tub? A bath tub?" She shrugged apologetically as she reflected on her answer. A giggle escaped her porcelain, cherry lips. This felt silly.
Cherette squirmed a little in her seat as she soaked in the man's brief smile. Had she been human a flush would have overcome her face as she caught herself staring. "You should really smile more." She whispered half under her breath. She looked into Leon's eyes briefly as another familiar smirk came across her face. "How is this point system going to work? What does the winner get?" She had full intentions of winning this game, so much in fact, she had almost forgotten about the surprise of the restaurant.

A small surprised look came to Leonardo’s features as his words seemed to bring a pleasured sound from Cherette. Though he had no expected it, and though it briefly sped up his heart, the werewolf forced himself to relax pressing his back farther into the seat and sitting up carefully thereafter. Well now what did you imagine? he wondered lips pressed together not willing to ask the question out loud just yet. Leonardo would leave it alone for now, leave himself to his thoughts and Cherette to hers.
The words that followed drew a small brief smirk to Leon’s features though it evolved rather quickly into a calm smile in recourse. “No need to apologize, I assure you,” he mused back making to gaze as best he could into her eyes. As she became more serious once more, he smiled a bit sweeter and sat forwards once again almost as if a tradeoff of seriousness had occurred. As she guessed a bath tub, Leon couldn’t help but chuckle to himself. It was close, one could suppose though not the nail on the head. The giggle that transpired thereafter was reverberated as well a bit louder this time.
However, the comment thereafter caused deep brown eyes to blink. Though Cherette had whispered it under her breath, the eldest Mattias son prided himself with his hearing when all was said and done and not in vain. Maybe I should… he mused mentally. It wasn’t that he didn’t smile the crisp curl of lips that were common to those of the Mattias’ immediate household, yet those truer smiles were scarce. He was, however, having his own sort of fun in this, he supposed. This game, this cat and mouse sort of experience, was something he enjoyed when it was all said and done. Wrapping a few people around his fingers was not quite as fun as this was becoming though exactly what the difference was, he could not pinpoint right off.
The question caused an interruption in Leonardo’s thoughts, and briefly he chuckled in response giving his thoughts enough time to recover. “Whoever has the most points by the time we get to the restaurant.. hmm… gets to decide the location of a future date,” Leon finished rather smoothly his words not wavering even at the pause. “How does that sound?” he mused out thereafter. Even if these games were just to get closer, to ensure the mutual friendliness until he could get his information at the very least, Leon had no intention of losing. Pausing thereafter, he shook his head slowly. “Your first guess was thoughtful~ though it is not a bath tub. Let us see… the next adjective … it can be mechanical.”

Cherette smirked and shrugged as Leon explained the terms of the game. Her stomach twisted into an explosion of butterflies at the mention of a future date. At this point, she couldn't tell whether or not she was succeeding to intrigue her companion and wrap him around her finger or if she was actually developing emotions for the man. Mind before matter. The phrase rang through her thoughts as she recalled her previous relationship with Felix. Cherette had never found any positives in bringing emotions into relationships; and yet, this somehow seemed different.
"Well, I hope you are prepared to travel, my dear friend, because I am no loser." Cherette followed her statement with an evil muahahahahaha laugh in her head. She knew her chance at winning a game she was unfamiliar at was very slim, but she would egg him on. "That sounds like a wonderful thing to win; the company of Leon Mattias." She mused at the thought.
She frowned slightly as she was informed that her answer of "bath tub" was incorrect. an object of relaxation, available in multiple colors and... mechanical? Cherette ran over the item in her head and finally projected her thoughts. "Could it be a recliner or a lounge chair?" or a lounge chair... are you stupid? He knows what a recliner is. dumbass. She mentally beat herself up immediately for simplifying something that was already common and simple. He's going to think that I think he's stupid... She bit her tongue to stop her thoughts as she waited for her companions reply, ready to have him take his turn.
