It was be simple, all she would have to do was rip into his throat. She shook the thought from her head, she couldn't do that, she couldn't have another death on her conscience, even if it was another Hunter, someone she should have been happy killing. She just couldn't. She did for a moment though think about changing him, it wouldn't be too hard to get her teeth into his arm and then he could suffer being what he was trying to kill. The thought of a Hunter with that type of strength and being able to blend in, it could turn out too dangerous.
She'd injured him, he would have to be insane to try and go after her if she ran off now. That's was really her best choice, to try and get away from the Hunter as quick as she could. She had no idea where the rest of her pack was, there had still been no returning howls and she didn't want to kill him or injure him so there wasn't really much other choice for her. As the Hunter shouted for her to get off, she did exactly that, jumping off of him and turning away as quickly as she could. She didn't even want to look at the injury she had caused. He'll take a lot longer to heal, I should be happy.
She did turn her head back once, a soft frown on her face which she wasn't even sure would look like what she wanted it to look like. She bounded off into the trees then, a steady run that wasn't anywhere near as fast as she wanted it to be. She would get as far from the Hunter as she could, find some spot deep in the forest and probably sleep to let her injuries heal up. She was very much hoping that they would be able to heal before she shifted back. | [atrb=width,100] words ,

He held back for a moment when the wolf sprang off of him and went darting away, and for a few seconds, Jace was in shock. His mind couldn't comprehend the fact that the creature had in fact done what he had shouted at it to do, and now he found himself lying in the snow a little more than dumbstruck A silent breath escaped from Jace after a moment, and slowly but surely he forced himself up. His entire body was shaking though whether it was from the cold or whether it was from the near death experience, he had no idea. For a few seconds, he just watched her run off through the trees, but after this daze worked its way out, he let out a horrid groan, threw his arms upwards despite the pain it may have caused, and let out an irritated sound.
Damn it all he had failed! Fuck his life and all his existence, damn it. After a few seconds, reason came back to him, and the Hunter realized the wolf could easily come back... with a pack in tow. He would have to leave it for now least sit bring back more members of her pack to spread him with. Damn it all; he would have to deal with it later- do something different later... Dragging his weakened self away, Jace mentally scolded himself at his folly. He would make up for this in some form or fashion, damn it all.
