She caught him before he hit the ground, her hands snaking their way under his arms, his weight negligible to her enhanced strength. Sara knelt and then sat back on her heels, letting Ator's head and shoulders rest on her lap. “Ator?... Ator, are you okay?” She asked in hopes he'd just fainted. Her facial features turned to one of pain as she realized that this was all her fault. She offered to help him and instead became distracted and neglected him. He was already weak and because of her Ator climbed the stairs to find her and then gave her a tour of his room, all the while. >What's wrong with me?.. How could I forget myself like that?..< She thought, trying to figure out how this happened.
She had much to atone for. Honor demanded she must care for him. Yukki would have to understand that she would not be home tonight. She would call him, but first things first. Sara's eyes glanced over his body as she tried to take stock of his condition. He had a sheen of perspiration on his bare torso, and even though she could not really feel his temperature, she knew he was probably cold and clammy. He'd lost allot of blood. It was no longer flowing, but she knew he'd passed out because of it. His breathing was slow, yet not shallow. There were a multitude of cuts and scrapes in various stages of healing. As far as she could tell he was safe to move.
Saraitha rocked forward and stood with Ator still in her grasps. She backed out of the small hidden closet, dragging him until she was in the much larger walk-in closet. She shifted his body, picking him up and cradling him as if a child. Sarah turned and walked out into his bedroom. She made her way to his bed while the marten snarled and growled angrily as he ran ran around her.
Sara's pupils widened, her irises going black. She half hissed a growl at the marten who hindered her every step. She regretted loosing her temper with him after he ran from the room frightened. It wasn't his fault. He was trying to protect his master. She had yet to feed and her hunger was making her temper short. Sara gently laid Ator on his bed. She stood there for a moment starting at the dragon. His color was returning slowly and she knew he was getting the rest he needed to allow healing to accelerate. His chest rose and fell rhythmically and she knew him to be in a deep sleep. His many wounds, especially his hand were crusted over in dried blood. His pants soiled and almost soaked with sweat and blood.
She sighed as her thoughts shifted. She looked over the sleeping body of the man who was also dragon and couldn't help but admire his pleasing features. Ator's face, while showing his fatigue, was peaceful in his slumber. She had to admit he was handsome with a strong jaw, wavy hair, and remembered his gorgeous eyes. Her gaze traveled to his torso and lingered. He was well toned but not over muscled like body builders were. The body art only added to his appeal and she sat at the edge of the bed and reached out a hand to trace the lines of his tattoo. She could hear and feel his pulse and the blood circulating within the veins and arteries lying just bellow the surface of the tanned skin. His musky scent hit her and a surge of adrenaline, blood-lust and sexual excitement pulsed in her and she wanted to lean down over him and trace her fingers on the tattoo that wrapped around his arm and down the right side of his chest before she realized what she was doing. >Shit, I'm not getting turned on over this?< She thought, realizing that instincts were driving her at the moment.
The faint echo of a thought of tasting the skin at his neck where the pulse was strongest and bitting down to drink of the ambrosia that was the nectar she craved made Sara clenched her teeth and she straightened and took a step back repulsed by her thoughts and actions. She wanted to say that it wasn't her, but it was. She didn't feel like something else within her had taken over. It was her own mind. Her own thoughts. She conceived quickly that it was the 'new' her. The melding of monster and herself that had finally produced a true vampire. She hungered and the blood-lust was growing. It was that simple, yet not so. Her thirst was now accompanied by a sultry longing. This scared her. She'd never felt this before. She'd almost been blindsided by this new "side-effect". Now that she was aware of it, she could easily control it but this was different in that there were no longer two entities fighting each other for dominance. Now it was just herself. A vampire who must now re-learn what she was. Everything she knew about that other part of her that was the monster was no more. She was in new uncharted territory with a new learning curve she would have to master. At least there was no loosing of control to a monster that would jump to the forefront when she weakened and do things against her wishes and beyond her control. Now it was just Sara. And she had total control of herself. She would just have to watch for her new instincts and impulses until she got used to her new self.
This new her would take some getting used to. Before when she hungered it was a simple need to feed at any cost. To sate the thirst and survive. Now that was replaced with something new. She now got sultry as she hungered. >The new me..< She thought. Then shaking her head, she calmed and focused on what she had to do.
Sara whispered an apology to Ator and turned to her duties. She entered his bathroom and located the washcloths and other supplies she needed. She returned to his room and picked up the medical kit, fishing out antibiotic ointment and medical shears. She returned to Ator's sleeping form and with another apology, her cheeks would be reddening if it was possible, she proceeded to cut his sweatpants from him, leaving him in his undergarment. Sarah soaked a washcloth in a bowl of warm lightly soapy water and proceeded to clean Ator's wounds and wash him as best she could. She cleaned and bandaged his hand last, taking special care to keep the wound from re-opening. She applied ointment generously and bandaged it with gauze from the med kit.
It took great effort for her to keep her thoughts and reactions in check, but she managed, even though the blood in her pounded as her hunger and blood-lust demanded to be sated. She stood, admiring her handiwork. His color had returned and he looked like a million bucks compared to earlier. She grabbed his comforter and with a yank, pulled it from the other side of the bed and over him with little disruption. She backed away, looking left as something caught her eye. She looked at the her reflection in the mirror to see herself looking worse for the wear. She clucked at image. She was a total mess. Hair all over. Dirt and grime of the day's excertion and flight for her life from the dragon and trough the forest all over her clothes and exposed skin.
She shook her head and with a last glance at Ator, proceeded to the huge bathroom to attend to her own needs. She emerged a while later feeling refreshed and most importantly, “clean” with a towel wrapped around her head and another around her body. She was greatfull to Ator for his choice of overly large bath towels, and the fact that he was still sleeping. Her clothes were neatly folded and laying on the floor in his bathroom. She couldn't prance around in just a towel though. A wardrobe malfunction was just waiting to happen. Sara walked into his closet once more and walked up to the smaller closet within.
Sara stared longingly at the Yukata, just inside the closet. She couldn't consider any of the other garments. She wouldn't let herself. That Yukata was her families design. It belonged to her. She reached out for it and gently took it off the velvet lined hanger. >Okāsan to otōsan wa, kono o shitte kanashiku narimasu (Mom and Dad will be saddened to know of this.) I must have this one and tell Dad to have the others located and removed and those responsible punished.< She thought to herself. But she was no theif. She would pay whatever it was that he spent on it. >I can't tell them I have to buy it back. I have to do this on my own. I won't use their money< She resolved herself. Money would not be enough. Ator said this was special. A gift for a future wife. She would have to earn it. She would work off her debt as a personal servant. It was the only way. Her family's honor demanded it.
Sara glanced behind at the still sleeping Ator. She let the towel drop and slipped on what she considered to be “her” Yukata, now that she'd resolved to pay for it. She carefully wrapped it about her and skillfully did the bow, not even needing the aid of a mirror. It was a perfect fir for her. This “was” her Yukkata. If she had any doubts at all before, they evaporated knowing that Ator would be hard pressed to find a woman of her build here in the U.K. She walked back into his bathroom and put her hair up using improvised items. She made a bow and pins and set her hair up to expose her neck. Her bangs hung in curls in front of her ears. She smiled at herself in the mirror and nodded as she turned around to look at herself in the full length mirror. Happy with what she saw, she picked up his and her clothes and left the room and hurried downstairs to attend to what she hoped would be her new dutties. She would inst. This was the only way.
Sara kept herself busy while attending to the laundry, cleaning, and anything else she could find. It was a bit disheartening. Ator's place was unlike any bachelor pad she'd ever seen or heard of. It was almost immaculate. Her hope was that although he kept everything so nice, that he would welcome someone else to do the work since it would free up allot of time for him to do other things. The man must have a hobby or three, and she would make him realize that her would gain something by letting her do what was woman's work anyway.
Saraitha checked on Ator regularly. She found that once he'd warmed up, he was actually suffering from a fever. She didn't know enough about dragons to know if this was a normal response to his healing ability, so she treated it as a fever and placed cool towels on his forehead, replacing it hourly. Once he started to stir, she knew he would awaken soon and so left to prepare him a meal. Almost a full day had passed and it was nearing breakfast time. She didn't know what to make him so she decided on Yukki's favorite. Eggs, Bacon, Toast, and Coffee instead of Tea. She knew tea was a Japanese thing.
Entering his room she noticed he was sitting up an awake. She heard his stomach growl, but his words and tone of voice confused her. Then she remembered she was wearing the Yukata and the smile left her features. She paused for a moment to stare at him. His expression was not quite anger. Surprise, yes. But there was something else, and she cast her eyes down as she approached.
Sara walked toward him. She stopped at the foot of the bed and bowed. “Masutā, Amata ga kaifuku shite kita mite watashi wa manzoku shite iru” (Master, I'm pleased to see you've recovered) She said, her eyes kept downcast. “I've prepared your meal and hope it is to your liking. Will you dine now?” She asked formally, straightening. She kept her eyes downcast. It was not proper for her to look at him unless he acknowledged her first. She held her breath waiting for him to say something. She had to sell this. If he refused her service to him she didn't know what she would do. She wouldn't leave without the Yukata. But what if he refused? She mentally shook her head. She would not accept defeat.
She remembered something else too. She had yet to feed. She wondered if the sight of her black eyes would do to him. How would he react?. She wouldn't leave him while he was still out cold, but how that he was awake, she would have to excuse herself. Bit first she had to wait for him to respond to her. She had to make him see things her way about the Yukata.

Ator crossed his legs Indian-style, nodding to Sara, accepting the tray of food. "It smells delicious." He took the tray, taking a fork and digging into the eggs eagerly. A few minutes later, he cleared his plate of all the food and took a sip of his coffee, coughing a little. "A bit strong, but that was delicious. I see you couldn't help yourself with the Yukata and possibly my shower." Had she been human, he would have expected to see the blood rush to her cheeks. He scooted back on the bed making room for her. He smiled, shyly, as he nodded to the empty spot on the bed in front of him.
"I'm not angry with you, Sara. I want to thank you for all that you've done. You really didn't have to take care of me. I always heal very quickly. It's a dragon thing. I do appreciate it all, though. I am still puzzled as to why you've cleaned. I thought I kept the place pretty damn clean myself." Ator chuckled as he looked around the room, glancing up to read Sara's facial expressions. He took another sip of the hot coffee, the dark liquid burning a little as he swallowed. He moved the tray from his lap, setting it gracefully on the bed beside him taking one of Sara's cold hands. "I'm not good with all of these sentimental things, it's quite against my nature, but I think I know what you're doing. Sara... just take the Yukata. You've already earned it. Just please take care of it. You knew what I intended it for; it took me a long time to find the exact one I wanted. It is rightfully yours." He said looking at her, his face relaxed and serious.
Ator let go of Sara's hand, standing up, the covers falling from his legs. He stretched, only to realize he was only in his boxers. Raising an eyebrow in amusement, he shook his head, smirking again and looked at Sara. "If you don't mind, I'm going to get ready for the day. I do have to work tonight and I have a few things I need to get done today. Feel free to help yourself to whatever. But first..." His voice trailed off as he walked toward the closet. Opening the doors to the larger closet and then to the adjunct smaller one. He flicked the lights on and rummaged through a few drawers. Ator walked out of the closets a few minutes later, tossing some clothes to the bed beside Sara. "I think these will fit, if not, you can go get the right size. I wasn't sure if you really wanted to be in that thing all day or wanted some normal clothes." He shrugged his shoulders glancing toward the jeans and t-shirt he threw on the bed.
Ator turned and walked toward the bathroom, pushing the door open and glancing up to look at himself in the mirror. Damn, man.. you've had one hell of a night He shook his head and began pulling off all the bandages on him, revealing perfectly healed skin. The last bandage to pull off was the one on his hand. The skin and bones seemed as if they were never even damaged in the first place. Tossing all the bandages in the trash can, he flipped the faucet and the shower sprung to life. A few moments later the bathroom was filled with steam. Smiling again, he slid off his boxers and stepped into the waterfall, the warmth of the water caressing his skin.
After his quick shower, Ator dried his hair and found himself trying to find all of his items he had sitting out on the counter of the bathroom. Wrapping the towel around his waist he searched around the bathroom one last time for a comb and toothbrush, but to no avail. He walked back out into the bedroom and shouted into the house, "Sara, did you do something with my comb and toothbrush?"

Sara smiled at the compliment of her meal's aroma. Her eyes came up to see him eating with gusto and seemingly enjoying his meal. Her smile widening, she said not a word as she waited for him to finish. His cough after sipping the coffee almost made her giggle. She really didn't know a thing about coffee, and to make things worse, Ator had gourmet coffee beans and not pre packaged coffee that would have had instructions on how to brew it. She'd guessed as to the amount she used. The shower comment would have brought color to her cheeks, but the only outward indication of her discomfort were he eyes being downcast again. She'd taken a few liberties without his permission, and she felt shamed to have done so.
He must have noticed for he let her know he was not angry with her. He continued talking, and Sara would wait until he was done. She'd been taught not to interrupt. He thanked her, which made her happy, but then continued on to pretty much say her efforts were not needed or necessary. Her expression was blank as he seemed chuckled. She kept her eyes downcast. Why the hell was he laughing at her? She'd gone through all that trouble to hopefully please him, but she'd apparently failed. She just didn't know enough about Ator to know any better. She'd done what she thought was right, but their cultural and species related differences had reared their ugly heads. She felt insulted but with a mental shrug, she closed her eyes and tried set it aside.
She was about to sigh and apologize when she felt his hands take hers. She opened her eyes and looked into his blue ones. Her lips parted to show her surprise before she closed them. His hand was warm, but the fact that she could feel the temperature didn't register right then. If it had, she would have also remembered the tingle she felt while in the bath earlier. Ator continued to speak, but once he got the the part about the Yukata, Sara shut down as her anger bubbled up and wasn't listening any more. She repeated his words in her mind over and over. ' I think I know what you're doing. Sara... just take the Yukata. You've already earned it. Just please take care of it. You knew what I intended it for; it took me a long time to find the exact one I wanted. It is rightfully yours.'
Was she really that obviously hopeless? That pathetic that Ator would refuse her offer of payment and just hand it over? 'What's that supposed to mean?', she asked herself at him saying she'd earned it. Earned what? And yes, she knew what he intended. It was meant for his future bride. Was she expected to return it when he found that special someone? Her expression was blank, even as her eyes burned. Sara was humiliated and insulted and anger set in. Yes, the Yukata was rightfully hers,no argument there, but she wasn't a beggar. He'd refused her offer to work off the debt. What did he want? 'You knew what I intended it for' echoed in her thoughts again. 'Am I to be forced to be your wife the?' She asked herself. Other more lewd thoughts crossed her mind of what he might have wanted of her and if she was still alive, she would have flushed with her anger. She was glad for once that she was dead. As angry as she was, she dared not show it. She's been raised better than that. This was his house and she was not a sex slave yet, she was still a guest. She swallowed her anger and nodded, for there was nothing more for her to do.
Then suddenly she realized something was not right. She was not the type to get angry like that. And those thoughts she was having. It was the same as when she was tending him She'd gotten sultry. And Ator was not like that, or at least she hoped he wasn't. He wouldn't hurt her. Yes, he'd tried to eat her, but he was a dragon, after all. Could she blame him for his animal instincts while in dragon form?.. She felt like she must have what she could only describe as the 'deer in the headlights' look to her as these thoughts played out in her head, but then again. She was a vampire. She could only guess without looking in a mirror. In reality her expression was just blank. He stood, but she didn't realize he had. He spoke about a shower and work, but she was so focused on what was going on with her mind and emotions that the words did not connect. She only instinctively looked over at the clothes he tossed on the bed for her. She subconsciously thanked him for his generosity and bowed politely too shocked at what had happened.
When Ator entered the bathroom, Sara collapsed onto the bed. What the hell was that? What happened to her?. Yes, she should be angry, but with herself also. He'd refused her, and she could not accept the Yukata without properly compensating Ator. She was honor bound not to. But to anger like that? and those thoughts.... Was it her hunger? Sara felt ashamed at herself. What if she'd said something hurtful in her moment of anger? Gods, this new her was so confusing. She really needed to watch her moods and temperament until she re-learned who she was. She thought about her brother Yukki. What would he think about all this? Was he even safe any more? Would 'anything' be the same any more?.
Suddenly her eyes burned and she felt a tickle in her nose and on her lips. She reached up to rub her nose and felt something wet. She gasped and her hand traveled up her cheeks to her eyes. She took her hand away and stared at it. It was wet. Her breath caught and then she gasped and held her breath. They were tears. She was crying. Really crying. Sara sat up and sobbed. She didn't understand it at first. She'd never been able to cry before. Then it dawned on her. It was the bonding of her and the beast. She was whole now. It had to be it.
Sara smiled and laughed, wiping at the tears with both hands and looking at her hands in awe. She could cry now. Really cry. It was a miracle. She slowly stood and walked towards the exit. All this craziness must have something to do with her hunger. It was like PMS all over again. She needed to feed, and she needed to do it now, before she said or did something to make her loose her new friend.
Sara wrote a note of her departure and expected return and left it on the coffee table downstairs on her way out.

Ator looked around the room for a moment and shrugged before walking into the closet, the towel practically hanging from his hips. She must have taken off He thought, flipping through hangers of jeans. Finding a torn pair that he liked, he pulled them off the hanger and began rummaging through the drawers in the closet, pulling out a t-shirt and new boxers.
Ator walked downstairs after he got dressed, his hair wet and hanging in his eyes. He glanced around the living room,. Everything was in order and clean. She did a really good job... He noted to himself. Before he walked into the kitchen, he noticed a note sitting on the coffee table. He glanced over it before walking into the kitchen, taking the note with him. Ator jumped as the tile floor felt ice cold against his hot feet. "Alex.. Where are ya bud?" He called out into the kitchen as he rinsed out his coffee mug. He walked over to the coffee machine and poured himself another cup of coffee, taking a sip. Wincing again, he opened the cabinet to pour some sugar into his cup, taking another sip; this time smiling at the pleasant taste.
Alexander jumped onto the counter in front of Ator, chirping up at him, hungry. "Sorry, boy." He said apologetically, replacing the sugar in the cabinet and pulling out a small bag of berries. Opening the bag, he handed a few to his pet marten. The marten greedily grabbed the fruit from Ator's fingers. He chuckled, picking up Alex and placing him on his shoulder. "C'mon little man, we've got some work to do."
Ator walked into the living room, grabbed his laptop and walked into his office. The study walls were lined with bookshelves, each filled to the brim with books. He walked in, taking a deep breath and smiling. "I love the smell of old books," he said to his little fur friend, "they remind me that no matter how old something may get, they can still satisfy the need of adventure." Pulling the chair out away from his desk, Ator sat down and opened the laptop. After the computer booted up, he began typing rapidly, digging into the first stretch of work that he needed to complete for the day, pausing every now and then for a quick sip of coffee.

Saraitha found herself walking down a city street, not too far from the edge of the wilderness, yet she did not immediately recognize it, being somewhat new to the town. She'd been lost in her thoughts. Preoccupied with herself and her troubles. She'd found her prey rather quickly, not too long ago, barely a mile from Ator's place and had sated her thirst without a single stain or tear to her precious yukata. This new Saraitha was so much different than who she was used to. She'd considered taking off the Yukata to keep it safe in her hunt, but she did not have anything underneath except the juban which would also have to be removed and prowling in nothing but her birthday suit may have been a problem if she'd encountered anyone. Before she could give it any real thought she'd come across a doe grazing in the clearing where she'd encountered Ator in his dragon form. She pounced immediately without much of a deviation in path of travel and took it down effortlessly and cleanly. There wasn't a hair out of place when she'd finished and disposed of the body.
With a clear head, she took off at a run to focus on her problems. First there was the fact that she'd changed so much, yet not so. There was a pronounced difference in the way she saw things now. Almost as if she was someone else, yet still herself. Thats what it felt like, anyway. She needed to learn and assimilate what she'd become. This, unfortunately would take time she did not have the luxury of.
Ator awaited her return, and more importantly, her brother Yukki was probably becoming worried at home. It was Sara's enhanced hearing that brought her back to the here and now. There were several people on the block she was on and chatter about the pretty Asian girl in the pretty dress attracted her attention. Specifically a mother and her son walking behind Sara. The child couldn't be more than six years old by the sound of his voice. And the woman, obviously his mother, and well educated at that, since she immediately corrected her son by pointing out that the dress was actually a yukata. A casual traditional garment worn by the Japanese women in Japan based on a kimono.
Thinking of her homeland brought a smile to her lips. This was strange since reminders of her past usually brought sadness and anger. The fact that she was smiling and happy instead gave her pause. She no longer felt the pain of the past. She found that she'd forgiven the exile levied against her. The old gripes were no longer of consequence. Bitterness was such a small thing in the grand scheme of things. Sara stopped. The mother and child walked past, and as they did, the whispered her thanks in her native tongue. “Arigato”. She realized something that had escaped her attention before. She'd been speaking Japanese allot since her change. Even to Ator just minutes before. She no longer shunned it. Yukki will like this, at least.
Saraitha turned to the right and studied her reflection in the plate glass store display window. She focused on the reflection of the street behind her to see everyone who walked past. They all stared and pointed. They all spoke about what an odd sight Sara was. No one had ever seen a Japanese woman in traditional garb before. Thinking about this, she should not have been surprised. Saraitha and Yukki were probably the only Japanese nationals in town. Her focus left the reflection to see what was within. What she was had her raise a brow. There were manikins dressed in servant clothing. Butlers, maids, and the like.
An idea flickered to life. At first she almost dismissed it for it was so ridiculous. Then her focus returned to her reflection. 'No. This could actually work' she thought. Sara smiled and turned. She walked to the edge of the forest before building speed to a flat out run. As she ran she hatched a plan. It wouldn't be too difficult. But would the locals embrace it or shun it as too radical a concept. She was all smiles when Ator opened his front door at the sound of her knocking. She knew it was rather ruse of her, but she could not contain her excitement. She dove into a vision. A rather unorthodox idea for a business venture. The region's very own Japanese style Maid Cafe. Saraitha could ask her father for the money to start her business, but she decided upon asking Ator if he would be interested in a partnership first. Based on what she'd seen in his home, she knew he would be familiar with what she planned and needed and may even have all the connections to pull it off. If the venture was a success, the profit and clout he would gain because of her would more than pay for the yukata. Saraitha finished her improvised and energetic presentation and waited for his reaction. "So... what do you think?"

Ator paused a moment as he listened to Sara's proposal. "Well, let's sit down and really think about this." His brow furrowed as he thought about the things that would be needed for the long process of opening and managing a business. "Step into my office." He said with a smirk, bowing slightly as he held open the door to his study, stepping in behind her. He walked over to his desk, pulling out a chair in front of the desk for her to sit in before walking behind the desk and sitting down. Ator pulled open the top drawer and pulled out a large stack of papers.
"Here's the thing, I own and manage the pub downtown, this will definitely add a few plates to my already crowded table. But, if you're serious about this, let's do it. You will need someone to manage shifts and have a plan for how you want it to really go, who you're looking to hire. First things first, where are you planning on starting this business? Where is the money coming from?" Ator's questions seemed like a lot as they flowed from his lips. He sighed as he sorted through the forms he had pulled out from his desk. "I'll be right back." He noted, standing up and leaving the papers on his desk. This will require a drink He thought, mentally scolding himself for allowing things to get this far and even contemplating being the manager of yet another business.
Once in the kitchen, Ator leaned against the counter taking a swig from the bottle of Rum, the spicy alcohol burning as it went down his throat. He cleared it before making the mental pros and cons of doing this for Sara. "Well, we would have cleaner places in town; like I'd care about that. There would be more jobs in town too; again, like I care. I guess a pro would be the extra experience. I care about that. What happens if this really goes somewhere? That could really be a pro." He sounded like a madman talking to himself, taking periodic swigs straight from the bottle. He shook his head at himself, "Well, here goes nothing." He began he short walk back to the study.
He walked through the doors taking another swig of the rum. "Now, Sara, here's what I'd like to do for you. This is right up my alley and I would like to help. Those forms, there, we need to fill them out. You will also need a financial adviser; not my alley. See where I'm going with this? We will need some help." Ator smiled at Sara sitting behind his desk again taking the stack of papers and setting it on her side of the desk and placing a pen on top. "Let's get to business, shall we? Would you like a drink?" he asked before taking another long swig and leaning back in his chair.

As Ator spoke about what would be required and what was involved in her proposal for the business venture, her head spun at the long list of things that were required. She smiled, however, at Ator's passion. She was worried that he would just refuse, but instead he seemed to dive into how to make her idea a reality with much gusto and enthusiasm. She knew little if anything about what he was saying, but she did know that he was over-thinking her needs. He was already talking incorporating and financial planing and accountants. Saraitha just wanted to keep it simple. A sole proprietor or partnership. What she really needed from Ator were his connections. She was new. Didn't know anyone or how to even get started. Ator had traveled the world and owned a business already.
Once Ator slowed and asked if she wanted a drink, Sara reached out and put her finger on his lips to tell him he needed to stop for a moment. “Please, Ator. I can't keep up with half of what you are saying. It sounds like too much, although I'm not sure what half of what you said means.” She said with a giggle. “Its fascinating though. And maybe in the future I'll need to do some of what you said, but I wanted to start small. A test, of sorts. To see if the people of this town could even accept such a concept.” She added, her brown eyes locked on his blue ones and her smile wide.
Saraitha sat next to Ator and leaned back with a sigh. “Sake, if you have it” She answered his question of whether he could get her a drink. She hoped, but did not put pressure on him by adding “Or anything fruity”. As he stood to get them their beverages, she dove into her ideas, and at the same time telling him about herself. “I would manage it myself, of course. I would only need to hire maybe six maids. There's this storefront on Kings Cross Court. I think it would be perfect. It used to be French restaurant, I think, so the kitchen is already there. And it has bamboo flooring, which is beautiful and perfect for my theme.” She said, a picture of the place she saw in her mind. “And money should not be a problem. My parents live in the united states and have their retirement and investments. My father was a prominent politician and an ambassador for Japan. He will help, I know he will. And My brother Yukki has a girlfriend that comes from a wealthy family. She's offered to help us with anything we might need. I refused initially, of course, I did not need of anything and didn't want to be a burden. But I don't know what Japanese décor will cost, and I want to do things right the first time around. She's a Mattias. Have you heard of them?” She continued and asked.
Sara waited for a response before saying. “What I need from you the most is in getting the things I need for the interior, and the ingredients for the fare, which I have no clue where to get, or if they even have them here, and of course the uniforms and décor. I saw the local servants shop. The British uniforms are very plain. They wont do at all.” She said, her smile disappearing for the first time, but it was short lived. Her smile returned when Ator returned and handed her her drink. “Arigato Gozaimas” She said formally in Japanese before taking a sip.

Ator stood at the request of his guest and exited to mix up a drink for her. He stood with a finger on his chin, thoughtfully. It seemed to him that she had everything that she needed to really get this whole thing to work. There was just something missing from it and he couldn't tell what. He listened as she listed all of her ideas about the cafe. When he returned from the kitchen he sat down behind his desk, slightly flustered. "Ok, Sara, I know I just jumped on so quickly. I'm a business man, so this is kinda my thing. We need to slow down about this." He slid her drink across the desk toward her.
He leaned back in his chair, pausing for a moment to consider all the things she had listed. "Alright, the first thing you said was a good idea. A test of sorts. Advertisements maybe?" He nodded, opening a drawer and pulling out a notepad and another pen. He listed a number one and write Advertising after it. He then listed a two and paused after writing it to look up at Sara from across his desk and take a small sip from his drink. "So, advertising. We should do this before we actually start the store, a test of sorts to see if your business would prosper. We could print flyers we can also have a place to start the business first before actually opening it up in a huge store and it being high class and all. The income has to outweigh the money we spend in all of this. Are you following?"
He paused to let his business companion collect her thoughts and reflect on everything he said. "The money is good. Having people willing to spot you on this whole thing is a plus." He nodded his head, looking back down at his list he had started. "I have a guy I know that will print us flyers for free. We can put those out around town, hell, we can put it out in other towns as well. He shook his head reflecting on the mention of the Mattias family. "I may have met one or two, but I'm not too popular with them. I meet a lot of people at the pub." He began writing on his pad again. Check out store. 3) Find uniforms. "Let's go see this shop you saw. See if it's within the budget, while we're out, maybe we can look for uniforms? Have you checked the next town over? Doncaster? Or even Manchester." He placed his notepad on the table, waiting for an answer.
